Nah, my dad hates metal. My mom used to come to metal concerts with us all the time, though. She got really into White/Rob Zombie for a long time.

My dad took me and my friend to see corrosion of conformity with machine head and fu manchu at the Moore theater in Seattle. He wore a flannel shirt and told us afterwards he was 'neither the oldest nor squarest guy in the balcony section'

My dad took me to Alice Cooper with Judas Priest a few months back. He went to Alice Cooper with Rob Zombie before that. He was really only interested in Alice Cooper's guitarist.
