They just want peace, said the Zionists for two whole year. They will free the hostages, and everything will be fine. The hostages are home, and the genocide continues. Killing and stealing the land of the Palestinians like is a sport for them.
Peaceful country.

I'm not sure if you know this but Peace Now is an Israeli anti-Settler organization advocating for the cessation and removal of settlements and a two-state solution as the only viable solution for the future security of both Palestine and Israel.

Israeli settlers are the most extremists and armed portion of Israeli society. There is no removing the hundreds of thousands of West Bank settlers with out intense violence and a possible civil war in Israel. Advocacy for a two state solution, no matter how sincere, ultimately just perpetuates the current apartheid state.
swelboy@reddit
But the settlers are also a small minority in Israel and while heavily armed, aren’t very organized, they rely on the IDF to deal with any genuine threats..
Because fighting for single state will create a less bloodier outcome? Forcing Israel to more or less dissolve itself is a much more difficult task (especially for insurgent forces) than just pushing them out of Gaza and the West Bank.

I love this, but I just wish this view isn't espoused by just 10% of israeli jews (excluding arab israelis). I just don't know how to feel about that when the highest echelons of the government call for the total removal of all arabs from israel
Successful-Bobcat701@reddit
They just want piece, a piece of this and a piece off that, a piece of the west bank, a piece of Syria and a piece of Lebanon.
SpontaneousFlame@reddit
Think of it from the Zionist point of view: would they be mass murdering children, demolishing houses, carpet bombing civilians and colonising the West Bank if they didn’t want peace? Would they arm settlers and then protect them as they attacked Palestinians if they didn’t like any peace? Would they brutalise and rape Palestinians if they didn’t want peace?

With the resumption of the war with Iran looking imminent at least there will be regional superpower to resist Israeli’s genocide and show them how Gazan’s felt

With how Israel is eyeing Turkey next I almost wish they attack us. People are sick of Erdoğan just talking, they want action. If Israel attacks us Erdoğans will be forced to respond.
bl123123bl@reddit
Israel is determined to escalate until they face state collapse, best wishes to my Turkish brothers
TheKingOfA@reddit
Thanks! You have my well wishes too and I hope the Annoying Orange doesn't drag you guys to war with us!

It is often impossible to predict what sort of chaos might come from Trump. In my limited reading of History Turkey has always been a better ally to USA.
We (USA) could have chosen Kurds as allies during Trump’s first term. Erdogan chatted with Trump and then betrayed the Kurds. Erdogan should offer to defend Israel and Egypt for less money than USA wastes on aid to Tel Aviv and Cairo. Make it a question of how much and start negotiating with MAGA politicians directly. You also need an ATPAC that parallels AIPAC. Catching up is hard but they will be boosted by rising anti-war sentiment.
Trump likes to break things and the walk away while pretend that everything was fixed. So a narrative where jews were imperiled but now Ankara will do security right is ideal.
Iran has to fear a land invasion from Turkey.
Though this sounds horrible (and is in fact horrible), include some proposals for resorts and hotels on Turkey’s Mediterranean and Aegean coasts. Large golf courses no wind mills. Add a large gold object commissioned for a prize for a leader who brings peace to Cyprus.
Significant-Ad-7182@reddit
People are sick of Erdogan in general.
They will hit us before the election comes but only after achieving "a" victory in Iran.
fudgemental@reddit
It likely won't be as drastic as you think. Iran has turtled, its attacks focusing on taking out strategic military targets, and it has reportedly used half as many rockets as the US and Israel jointly have used on its civilian and military centres. Which is not to say that Israeli cities have not been targeted, but just the death toll of the school bombed in the opening salvo against Iran is still higher than the death tolls of both Israel and US combined.
travistravis@reddit
Because Iran doesn't seem to want to kill thousands of civilians, unlike the other two.

If escalation reaches desalination plants and power facilities, it would turn Israel into Gaza
Israel may just be equal parts foolish and psychopathic enough to go down that path
