Just got the early access to Kimi K2.6 !!

Wonder if this the same model as K2.6-code-preview. Surely they can't be doing a separate big coder model. Otherwise, it seems the fate of our lot for now is that all flagship models are going to be hyper-tuned for coding, and a regression across other things people care about (though they don't hold a candle to the number of people who only care about coding, evidently).

If you need general task models to do "things people actually care about" then just use small models. You don't need a 1T+ model for summarizing text, translation or roleplaying. And there's a lot of people who care about the model's coding capabilities and use it to do things we care about. You don't care doesn't mean others also don't.
