How to stick things to my boat

I have a laser, second hand, so it already has maps stuck onto the foredeck but they aren't the right ones for me. Following me getting completely lost yesterday (thank you safety boat 😅) I've been reminded to get correct maps stuck on. My questions are, do I use glue? Or tape? Which kind? And should I take the old maps off before or just put the new ones over the top? The photos below just about shows what I mean. Thanks :)

Put paper in a pocket-like transparent plastic file, cut to size, use regular packaging transparent Scotch tape. It's not UV-resistant (neither is the duct tape) and won't last long, but it doesn't have much glue and is easy to remove entirety with solvent to attach a new one.
Another way is to laminate the paper, but lamination is not UV-resistant either, and cheap lamination lets water inside the laminate.

Thank you

Laminated, then hook and loop. Use alcohol on both surfaces before applying the hook and loop tape.

A map on a boat is called a chart, If you're getting adventurous on a laser and sailing well out of sight of your launch point you'd be wise to buy a second hand old garmin oregon 400c or something like it with built in marine charts to get you home.

Tape is the way to go, get the map laminated first. Duct Tape will hold it nicely.
