GPU upgrade

HI,
I've recently started to upgrade my about 10 year old pc that I bought from a friend a couple years back. Current setup:
- MSI B450 Tomahawk MAX
- Ryzen 7 5700X with AK400
- 2x16 GB G.Skill Trident
- GTX 1070 8GB
- 34 inch curved ultrawide monitor (144Hz)
I have upgraded to that CPU recently as it was a cheap option for a fairly big upgrade. I wanted the X3D version but it was just too overpriced.
Now im divided between some GPU's with eyes on the future. I can go short term and get the RX 9060 XT 16GB for a fairly decent price. I can also save a bit longer and get the RX 9070XT or go RTX 5060Ti or something like that.
I am planning on staying on AM4 and skipping AM5 completely and do a full system upgrade in a couple years.
Main games I normally play are:
- MSFS 24
- Le Mans Ultimate
- Assetto Corsa Competizione
- Squad
- bit of Farm Simulator and Euro Truck Simulator
Can you guys give me advice in what to look for for a GPU as my resolution will demand a bit more with this monitor.
Also it might be important to note that I don't need to play games on Ultra settings. A healthy combination of realism and performance is the sweetspot for me. Everything will look way better than now anyways.
Thanks

9970xt or 9060xt depends on your budget

So in your opinion, is about 200 euros worth it for the performance difference between those two?
Sea_Art_6548@reddit
With the cpu you have I would get the 9060xt. And it’s the best price to performance card on the market
KaanBuyuk@reddit (OP)
Yeah thats what ive come to find out. Should be an okay card for atleast when im getting a complete system upgrade somewhere down the line
Sea_Art_6548@reddit
It will be a great card no matter which you choose and should last a while

I'm always saying, 9060XT 16gb gives almost same performance with stock 5060ti if you undervolt it a bit and give +10% power limit from AMD software. Mine is 15800 on 3DMark where 5060ti is around 16500. So save that 200 bucks I'd say, or go straight to 9070xt

Yeah the 9060XT looks like a great card for the price compared to others. But im not sure if i need to save 200 more for the 9070. Is that worth it you would say?
Hot_Confusion_Unit@reddit
No no, I was trying to say "5060ti is 31K TL, 9060xt is 21K TL, better save the difference of 200usd to yourself by getting 9060XT instead of 5060Ti" but if you are getting 9070XT, go ahead, it's just 3-4K TL higher than 5060Ti in some models like ASUS 9070XT OC, on amazon.com.tr

9060xt 16gb is great. If you save more get the 9070xt over the 5060ti or even 5070 and 5070ti
MisLuck@reddit
Get the 9070xt over the 5060ti, way more horsepower, and their prices arent too far apart
