They uploaded it on Hugginface and took it down. The worst thing is that I saw it up while at work and wheb I came home and wanted to download it, it was gone. Found a post where was written that they uploaded it by mistake. But there is a thing, there are people that downloaded it for free and there's me who should pay for it, and I don't wanna 😂
So I searched for days on different forums and finally found it 😁

Look, I have no idea on how to validate the legitimacy of this and no dog in this fight, but everything about the way with is worded from the FOMO to the way it is being distributed is alerting me to some kind of scam.

RAR is just an archive format, like ZIP. As far as I know, just extracting a RAR file can never be harmful. It puts some files in a directory, then you can examine them. I downloaded the link (presumably it's the same one) that OP posted elsewhere. The RAR file contained
.safetensorsand.jsonfiles, both of those are safe data-only formats.Be careful about the sites you go to though, for example they might have malicious ads, redirects. Tricky names like
blah.rar.exethat appear to be a safe format but are actually executable are also possible. If something is genuinely a RAR, safetensors, JSON, etc, file that is only data then it's always safe.KringleKrispi@reddit (OP)
Try in virtual workplace first, scan it and you will know, that's what I did

It's working like a charm. Just extract all files to they correct folder in TTS Audio Suite directory.

Let me start by saying I'm no expert. I scanned the RAR file with Defender, and it doesn't show any threats. But I don't know if that's enough. Furthermore, after downloading the files, I don't even know how to test them without installation instructions.

Huggingface staff said V2 is a intellectual propriety of KugelAudio Gmbh (a German company), so I'm wondering where I could upload it without getting DMCA claim or something like that.
Anyway, Kugel V1 is already the best TTS model for European languages, can't wait to try Kugel V2.

don't know why rar, I downloaded it in wmware and unpacked it, it has a safetenstor file of 18gb and json and txt files
