This LLM generated blog format is so tedious to read. It's painful to try to get to the main points in between the needless soundbites.
Tbh the whole blog is suspect to me, very few posts, talks about getting away from US tech and privacy while using macos and anthropic services. I'm leaning towards this being an ad for this person's services on the site.

Every time I read an LLM post now with its fake ass cliche-ridden writing I get irrationaly angry. No x, No y but Z. Fuck off gpt ugh. I would take a post riddled with spelling mistakes and grammatical errors over anything written by an LLM.

If there is one thing LLMs excel at it's summarizing almost any format and dumbing it down to something a ten year old can grasp. These sites need a TLDR that gives that summary or you just need a browser plug in that does that for you.

Anthropic has this LARP of being the SaFeTy corporation, but they're as shady as anyone else. Not signing up to be the government murderbot is a very low bar to pass.

And they didn't even clear it. The CEO clarified in an interview that they offered to make AI specifically for autonomous weapons, they only had an issue with their current AI being used for it.

Think this is the part: If a browser extension with one of the three IDs listed above reaches my Brave install, Brave is pre-authorised to spawn the binary at /Applications/Claude.app/Contents/Helpers/chrome-native-host on my laptop with my access permissions.

Author is trying to get attention through clickbait.
TL;DR: Claude uses Chromium Native Messaging API to connect to your browser, it's the intended way to use this API, no actual spyware, but still Anthropic is shady company shipping proprietary software which assumes the user is stupid and non-educated, therefore hides many things like this
