Put Odometers on everything.

What kind of mileage do i got on my toaster.
Imagine your bong finally rolling over to 300k on the odo.
This is good information we all need.
BrandonC41@reddit
You can buy one for a record player
Steve-Shouts@reddit
I've always wanted a "flush count" on public urinals.
Fun_Quit_312@reddit
There the wastewater report every year. That's kinda the same. It tells how many mega tones of drugs your people have come someday via wastewater testing. Always makes me feel patriotic and brings a tear to my eye thinking of all the wasted drugs being peed out.
revolvingpresoak9640@reddit
If they are peed out, they weren’t wasted though.
sadandtraumatized@reddit
Urinals flush?!
zobbyblob@reddit
Some do, some don't, some don't ever stop flushing and have continuous water coming down.
AanthonyII@reddit
Far lower than the amount of times it was used
Steve-Shouts@reddit
Oh, I'm sure.
Lemfan46@reddit
How often do you move your toaster?
Scrangdorber@reddit
I think they meant a usage counter, not a literal odometer. Like 5,245 slices toasted.
Scazitar@reddit (OP)
I would be able to confidently & accurately anwser that question for you if it an odometer on it.
Lemfan46@reddit
Odometer wouldn't tell you how many times you moved it, just how far.
Scazitar@reddit (OP)
Yeah but I'm just saying if i saw the mileage going up over time, I would probably have a pretty good grasp on the situation.
xiangkunwan@reddit
The odometer could also display how much electricity it has used as well as a “speedometer” displaying the current electricity draw
On_my_last_spoon@reddit
You’re fun! I like you!
Electrical_Cell496@reddit
Judging from this post…probably quite a bit
icebox_Lew@reddit
Lol bro all toasters have counters! If you slide the crumbs tray out and look underneath it, you'll read the slice count
Joe_Kangg@reddit
You can adjust it with a butter, knife, just make sure it's plugged in.
vowelqueue@reddit
I have a vape that does actually track the number of puffs
pereuse@reddit
I would love an odometer for a roomba, or for a cat
Massive-Rate-2011@reddit
My roborock vacuum has an odometer. Just in the app
carrie_m730@reddit
I want one for my dog and probably will get one someday when I have disposable income. I just want to know how many miles she runs going back and forth between me and the door while I'm getting my shoes and coat on.
shasaferaska@reddit
There is an app for that. GPS collar tracking app for cats. I can't remember what it's called.
turtletramp@reddit
Hour meters for the win.
Western_Aerie3686@reddit
Back in the day, when your computer mouse had an actual ball, you used to be able to enable an odometer.
haringtiti@reddit
damn i never knew that i was too busy taking the ball out and getting that line of dirt off of the little rollers inside
Snoo63@reddit
Can't you do it with a laser/optical mouse?
haringtiti@reddit
i need one on my razor to see how many miles ive ever shaved
uhohstinkywastaken@reddit
Me thinks OP was baked making this post.
seancurry1@reddit
When I was a kid, I used to pray anytime I had a random question like this (“how may miles on my x”) and ask God to add it to my filing cabinet. I envisioned that there would be like a card catalog waiting for me in heaven with answers to random questions I had asked over my entire life.
I don’t think heaven exists anymore, but I hope that filing cabinet does. I don’t even want to know the answers, I just want to know the questions I was asking.
PM_Your_Wiener_Dog@reddit
Mileage would be way more entertaining than a body count
unmelted_ice@reddit
“Yeah my uncle probably put a couple hundred miles on me…”
/s
Then_Entertainment97@reddit
How about bodies per mile? Lets see those efficiency numbers.
lethalweapon100@reddit
Hour meters bruh
Hour meters are common in heavy equipment as some sit stationary, therefore hours of runtime is a better measure than mileage
Highest I’ve seen was 69k hours (nice)
AreYouAnOakMan@reddit
If you get an app-compatible device from PuffCo, then the number of times and duration of use are logged and can be checked by the user at any time.
Bubbly-Pirate-3311@reddit
If my right hand had an odometer I would have it taped off
Fun_Quit_312@reddit
The odometer on my bong is how much bong grot accumulates.
sillybilly8102@reddit
Odometer on a pencil would go hard
Imagine kids in school getting excited about their writing stats
SoapyNarwal74@reddit
Dude ODO on the shoes 😫
bucktillman1@reddit
Things aren’t expensive enough as is. Would be interested to see what IQ that OP could’ve topped out at, instead of staying in the double digits and fist pumping when the bong finally hit 100k rips lol
Scumbag__@reddit
Blud take your own advice this is r/crazyideas not a forum to post ideas that get adapted into the real world 😭
bucktillman1@reddit
Thanks, blud. You fucking dork lol
Mmmmudd@reddit
There's plug-in energy monitors that work as hour meters as well as wattage.
There's also hour meters for small gasoline motors that work by reading pulses on the spark plug wire.
