Help Picking a New PSU

Hello! I’ve been having an issue recently with my pc randomly crashing/restarting while gaming. I’ve done various tests and all signs now point to it being my power supply. It does make sense as I’m pretty sure it’s a lower grade PSU (segotep 750w) that I bought in 2020. Lately with dropping the resolution to 1080p and GPU power to 80% it’s been fine, but that isn’t a permanent solution. Last year I upgraded to a PNY 5060ti 16gb and a Ryzen 7 5800x so I’d like to upgrade the PSU as well. I’m thinking 850w and did a bit of looking SPL’s Tier List, but I’m still not sure. I’d like to stay under $150 USD. However, less than that would be preferred (maybe $100-130 USD range). If anyone has suggestions, please let me know!

well I would suggest the SAMA G1000 u wont find a better value but the montech Century 1050w is also a great value

Is there anything higher quality you’d recommend at 850w, even for a bit more money? I was looking at the Corsair RM850x, but that’s at the high end for my budget at $150 USD

Just get the RM850x. It goes on sale pretty regularly for $130, or you may even be able to snag it for $120 if you're lucky.

Don’t cheap out. Amazon has Seasonic Focus GX-850 for $140. Or anything built by SuperFlower

I'd suggest the Asrock SL-850g for $90, it's gold but platinum on the cybernetics test and I want to say it's either an A or A+ on the list

I’ll check it out! Thanks!

Also, forgot to mention, the purpose of this rig is 1440p gaming relatively intensive games, such as CP 2077, some racing simulators, big name shooters, etc.

Sorry! Yeah, just for typical Triple A games in 1440p. At the moment mainly Overwatch and BF6

Whoops, I somehow put this on the wrong post lolol
