Hey all, looking to upgrade or buy a new pre built.
Currently I have a i7 10700k with an RTX 3080. I have a 1000 watt PSU that I upgraded to about 1 year ago, along with a new HDD and 2 NVME 2TB drives so I think I’m fine in those areas.
A pre built I’m looking at is running around $2600, however on fb marketplace, someone in my area is selling a 5070TI never used still in box, as well as ryzen 9 9900x3d and an AM5 motherboard. Each part he has listed is around 200-300 less than MSRP. I’m not too knowledgeable on how I can appropriately test these parts or make sure they are real before buying them. But would love to save money where possible.

Ask where they want to meet, find the nearest police station near that spot and ask to meet there. If they balk at the idea then it is probably a scam.
If the prices are as good as you're saying and the listing has been up more than a few hours it is probably also a scam but if it is a newly posted listing you should get in the car like right now to go buy it because it won't last long

Yes it was posted about 6 hours ago, just wanted to know what I should look for to verify they are legit

Basically my main question is how can I know whether or not this is real, what should I check for in person?
