Thoughts on Case Aesthetics and Recommendations I'm Missing

So 3 years ago, I had built 2 new computers. One was a "family "computer going into the den, and one was mine, going into my bedroom/office. I wanted an all-white build for mine.

For the family computer, a family member insisted that it blend in with the room, and I found the Fractal North. The wood panel front made it do so.

Now I'm planning on replacing my all-white beast. Corsair 5000D. I see they've made changes to the 4K and 5K line since, including support for reverse connectors and a built in anti-sag bracket but....

I find myself liking the wood panels more on the Fractal. The North XL still feels a little tight. And I started looking for others and I find myself wondering about the aesthetics.

I would love a wood case. The Asus ProArt 602 is amazing looking...but I find myself wondering why the outer panels also aren't wood. Mind you, I understand having a metal case inside. I'm asking about the outer panels. Not just trim. Not just front facia.

I saw someone in Australia actually make this for a NZXT...but it's NZXT.

Corsair is now making removable top and front panels.

So I wonder, am I the only one who likes the aesehetic?

I also find myself if I'm the only one tired of the "fishbowl" trend in cases.

Any other cases I am missing out on?
