How to build a whole new adventurous, fun, community based life at 32M?

So long story short I’ve moved from UK to Mexico
On the coast
I love it
Although my life looks like this currently:
Runs in the morning then hop in the clear sea
Go to the grass area and ground myself meditate breathe and take in the day
Supermarket
Errands
Gym sometimes
Work from home on laptop
That is pretty much it
But for someone who came from a horrible upbringing I love this peace
Yet after one year of doing this I’m ready to live again
I want to connect with people
Be outside doing things
Share meals
Go to a festival
Adventures
Dates
Sports
Etc
I just don’t know how to make it happen without being some weird foreign guy in his 30s trying to make friends lol
Any advice?

Volunteer, take classes, sign up for a casual sport, etc. You basically just need to meet a lot of people. You won’t necessarily connect with the bulk of them, but if you’re lucky and keep putting yourself out there you’ll eventually make some friends.

Host a bbq and invite all your neighbors

Same way you do it at any age.
Meet your neighbors, take part in hobbies, sports and groups that share interests. Make an effort to develop friendships, invite people and be the kind of person people want to be around. Kind, fun, relaxed, etc.

Hey, it sounds like you are off to a good start. Good luck. I also recently moved to Mexico and am going through the tricky business of trying to meet other expats similar to myself. There are lots of Facebook pages for expats in Mexico, although I know FB is now for older people. The best I can suggest is to maybe just approach other folks your age and ask a question, like, 'hey, I just moved here, do you know any good bars or friendly places to eat, etc?" Instead of saying, 'I'm lonely, can you be my friend?" Which is often how we feel. LOL.
