Integrated Graphics

Hello, so I just finished building a pc without installing a gpu in yet. My CPU is a Ryzen 7 9700X. When I booted up Steam to play some Schedule 1 on low, the game was laggy and the FPS was sub-30. I previously had a Mac mini M2 which I used to play Schedule 1 on high while using a emulator also. I thought the 9700x was overall better than the m2 chip. Was I wrong in thinking so? Does that only apply to gaming? If it helps I have my integrated graphics running at 90-100%. Pls help :)

The M2 is a apu and has a significantly higher power gpu in it than a 9700x
The gpu in the 9700x is there for basic office and web browsing not gaming

The iGPU on the 9700X isn't anywhere near the power of the Apple M2's GPU. The 9700X's iGPU is basically just a Radeon 610M, which is on par with the UHD 630 iGPUs seen on older Intel CPUs.

...iGPUs are for basic web browsing, not real gaming? You got half of a gaming pc and expect it to game well? Maybe one of the 8000 chips (those are APUs, which have servicable iGPUs) but not a 9000.

The 9700x has a barebones igpu, not intended for gaming, mainly intended for business environments.
The gaming igpu line is the G series, such as the 8700G.
