3080Ti for £280 or 4070Ti for £380?

I heard 4070Ti should be 15-20% faster and has access to frame gen.
Is 4070Ti worth £100 more? Mainly play in UW 1440p.
4070S is selling at £360 so probably not as good of a deal.

Honestly, at UW 1440p, I'd probably snag the 4070Ti. You'll dig the extra performance. £100 isn't crazy. I used to run that card at that res. It performed great. DLSS 3 is pretty sweet too. You won't regret it, mate.

all RTX gpus have 4.5 support but 20-30 get massive performance drop when using 4.5 due to not having the necessary physical cores. so imo still go for a 4070

Trust me, framgen is worth it. Having played Resident Evil 9 and Indiana Jones with PT on is truly amazing.

4070ti so you can use frame generation. It's probably slightly faster v 5070.

Performance wise they are usually within 10 fps of each other realistically, so it really comes down to if you think framegen is worth the extra 100$, games wise sometimes the 3080ti is faster, usually the 4070ti is a few fps faster or ties it.
