Per the heading, do you have a regular window cleaner? How often they clean and how much are you paying?
Civil-Fan-3586@reddit
Every 2 months, 5 average size windows, £13. North Yorkshire.

I used to, stopped renewing the appointments when I looked at his Google Maps reviews and saw what an unhinged lunatic he was whenever he replied to a negative review.
Master-Leopard-7830@reddit
8 quid roughly every 4 weeks. 8 windows on the house and a porch with 6 panes.
Akash_nu@reddit (OP)
Wow 😯
Where are you?
CurvePuzzleheaded361@reddit
£15 every 2 weeks for a 2 bed house
SnooozeFezt@reddit
£21 every 2 months. To be honest I'm not sure why we bother, but we do.
NoCold3997@reddit

Careless-Giraffe-623@reddit
People pay for window cleaning?
RaspberryJammm@reddit
Most window cleaners use a pole now so nobody has to unnecessarily risk life and limb on a ladder. Plus some of us physically cannot clean our own windows (im disabled and would probably pass out if I tried)
Major-Credit-2442@reddit
If they want someone else to clean their windows for them, why wouldn’t they?
RaspberryJammm@reddit
2020 to 2025, £17 for a small 2 bed. Did a decent job and cleaned the window ledges on outside too.

When i lived in a flat my downstairs neighbour was a window cleaner. He gave me a good discount even after i moved out. He unfortunately suddenly passed away end of 2024.
Last year rang a few local window cleaners and cheapest I was quoted £28 for a one off clean on a 2 bed semi detached house, it was my neighbours who paid the bill after they “forgot” to tell us that they were having their chimney removed and roof redone. They fucked off to Portugal for a fortnight whilst the builders were here. Start of the school holidays too so I really wasn’t impressed.

£18 pet clean. Comes once a month. We’ve got a lot of windows so this is a good price.
Sea-Still5427@reddit
£5 for the fronts (six windows) every month or so. Another £15 to do the back of the house too, which has about four times as much glass. Add another fiver to check the gutters for moss etc.
Rootbeeers@reddit
Glad you posted this, feeling ripped off, jibbing off my window man
Sad-Vanilla-8038@reddit
There's a window cleaner round our way. He's useless. We call him Mister Bit.
Any-Tomato-2915@reddit
Loool
Games4Two@reddit
Tenner a month. Yorkshire. They're not the most thorough, to be fair, but it's better than me doing it.
HamsterEagle@reddit
He’s just put the price up from £15 to £18 for a bed house, he does a good job and it’s one task less that I have to do.
Roxygen1@reddit
Judging by the other comments, I have been ripped off.
If I see a window cleaner doing another house in my road, I'll ask them to do mine as well (terraced house, so it's just 2 windows) and different guys have al charged £20
carpediemcarpenocte@reddit
£10 once a month
retailface@reddit
£14 every six weeks, for five first floor windows (four of them quite big) and the front door.
Sirlacker@reddit
We do, but only because we keep forgetting to fire them off.
Can't remember how much we pay, but I know it's extortionate for what they do. They're here about 10 minutes. They have that stupid brush system that leaves windows with watermarks, scratches them because they don't clean them off between washes and leaves all the dirt dripping on to the windowsill which they don't clean either.
Queen_of_London@reddit
£4 every two weeks in London. Two large sash windows on different floors.
Spiderplantmum@reddit
£18pm for the house in Lincs. Doesn’t do a brilliant job but there isn’t a lot of choice
Fancy-Licker-66UK@reddit
I was paying £15 15yrs ago. 3 bed semi NW London.🏴😎
Low-Captain1721@reddit
Can't find one but would love a decent reliable one.
Every address I've lived at in the last thirty odd years I've came across a local window cleaner doing his local rounds & arranged for them to do mine. Always had a good value reliable service this way.
However lived at my current address a few years & haven't come across one yet.
Found one on Google with a million fake reviews etc, came to do them when I was out did a rubbish job. Tried to charge a fortune too
FritzlsChild@reddit
£8 every 2 weeks and I live in a semi detached with an extension plus a summer house so I have a few more windows/doors than most. Plus an extra £10 a month to Get the gutters cleaned out.
Logical_Hat_47@reddit
Yes, once a month, £11 (he just put his prices up from £10 which we'd paid for several years.) Cumbria, detached house.
znv142@reddit
I just moved to another country in Europe. Actually pretty cool - all of my windows open to the inside and I just clean them myself (occasionally)
Tobleto_Danillio@reddit
