New, Sealed No Box CPUs

I see these sealed no cpus being sold cheaper than the usual new ones. I think they're oem/tray cpus but im not really sure

I bought one from a reputable seller on AliExpress over a year ago. 5700X3D for $160, arrived in a plastic container in a bubble mailer. No issues in the year plus I’ve had it.

This was exactly my experience with the exact chip.

CPU themselves are safe but buy from a reputable seller. That matters way more. There likely won’t be a warranty, which is normal as these CPUs are meant for system builds, but the seller reputation is important more for making sure you don’t get scammed.
