I do find his videos fascinating but his glazing of Soviet society is a little sad. it’s fun and games when you’re a rich westerner treating it like a museum. you know what I also notice? everyone he ever talks to is old and will likely be dead in 20 years. all those cities he’s explored will be crumbling ghost towns and no one is going back
