what happen if the power ranger isn't wearing the right color when they morphe? like if the pink ranger morphed while wearing green.

This was actually tested when they had JDF (Tommy) where green again after he was already the white ranger because they had to match stock footage of the original black, red, and yellow rangers after they abruptly left the show in season 2.
He morphed to the white ranger wearing green clothes.
