Suffering from RSI, longtime Deathadder user, suggestions?

Been getting fairly distinct pain in my hand/wrist lately gaming and browsing. Longtime Deathadder user since at least around 2010. Currently have the v3 pro.
I have a fairly small to medium size hand. 18cm long, max width with thumb closed to my palm is 11cm though.
I also own a fully adjustable chair and desk. I usually play and browse with my whole forearm on my desk, my palm sits slanted on the right side of the mouse(right handed) and thumb slightly elevated it seems. Lately have been needing to switch around with the pain. Like my palm sitting more on top or bringing the mouse closer to the edge near me to use more wrist, which just ends up hurting.
Willing to change grips, size etc. Mostly play competitive games and some others. Counter strike, LoL, Path of exile. Lots of clicking and movement needed. Generally at a low sensitivity. 50% sensitivity through windows 11, no acceleration, generally between 1.5-2 with 800dpi in shooting games type thing.

Don’t worry everything will be ok no need to worry about death right now.

Is it De Quervain's tenosynovitis? I have that chronic. I use a wrist brace with thumb spica + adjustable vertical mouse.
Some wrist brace are more ergonomical and provide better compatibility with mouse's, so look around and try

For mouse, the only I personally use is Contour Unimouse wireless version. The customizable buttons doesn't appear to work in games and the company when I messaged them mentioned they won't be looking to fix that .
