I'm not home right now, between Dallas and Oklahoma, but I don't even have a handle. I just answer to "hey, you."

Make sure you get the biggest amplifier money can buy. You need to walk all over the speakers at Pilot

I'm almost certain there is a guy with a megaphone hiding inside the pump ready to let you know about the best coffee on the interstate!

I didn’t think CB’s were still a common thing for truckers these days.
Heather_Val@reddit
Not the most common, but still useful.
Always_Shifting_4459@reddit
More common than you think. Can often hear people in other states too
LongjumpingCat6642@reddit
Common in flatbeds/open deck and owner ops.
ifukeenrule@reddit (OP)
some drivers still use them
Flimsy_Map_4425@reddit
Not common amongst the mega carrier dry van drivers. Super common in certain niches.

Is that hiways and byways guy in the northeast or somewhere gone or is he still plugging up the channel

CB handle: "Good Buddy". For truckers, it means comrade or friend. Be sure to use your CB handle to announce your arrival when rolling into a rest area.

Don't forget to key up asking about the local lot lizards once you get parked

lmao, i told him. and now we play the waiting game!

Hahaha

CB handle should be something embarrassing/frustrating for him. I got assigned trailers with flat tire(s) at least once a week (out of 5-7 trailers) at my starter company. My friends started calling me "No Defects" 🤦🏾♂️😂
thesunking93@reddit
He's barely swinging the needle and sounds like a mud duck LOL
ifukeenrule@reddit (OP)
yeah, he's about four years into trucking now
wukillabee2744@reddit
Sounds like your homies "catching" so maybe bottom busted
Packingheat248@reddit
How much did the entire set up cost including installation?
ifukeenrule@reddit (OP)
the cb only cost about 150 pilot points
ifukeenrule@reddit (OP)
or trucks come equipped with everything. he will watch YouTube for the fine tuning

I haven't used my CB handle in years. I heard I died and just kinda let that be the case. It's not like it used to be anyways, back when you'd run into each other more and we used the radios frequently.

Did the squelch monsters get you?

Last I heard, I finally lost a rig in the mountains. One rumor was quite the story about Glenwood canyon on I-70. It seemed a fitting way for me to go and it was damn convincing. So I ran with it. 😂

Better than me. I apparently overdosed with a toothpick/ busted glass combo.

We fake die the way we lived, brother! LOL
