Station House Apartment

Hi. I will be studying a year at Cranfield university. Am planning to stay in MK so that I can better explore the rest of UK/EU during my free time. (i'm from Asia)
I saw some apartment for rent at Station House which i think is right above the train station. I cannot find any reviews of the place (good or bad).
Wondering if anyone can comment on the landlord of the place and the general place/ area in terms of safety and noise. I get that the trains are right below but do they run 24/7?

Hey, I live there right now. Feel free to message if you have any questions. Like the other comment said - Aaron is amazing, and for all the imperfections and issues there are living here, he makes it well worth it. Other residents are generally ok, gym is pretty good. Transport links are good for london, although parking isn't the best.

I have a 1 bed apartment I rent out on longer term leases with all bills included and it’s very close by the station in the hub (with floor to ceiling windows in the lounge with a Juliet balcony overlooking the fountain in the hub!)
It’s a very short walk to the station (10/11 Min), very nice place to live.
If you’re interested, send me a msg and I’ll share a link to the listings as it’s just become available.

Area is fine, reception guy is really lovely (though he can be a bit difficult to get a hold of). Never had a parcel stolen from the parcel room which I hear of happening in other flat buildings. The gym being included in rent is good because it’s clean and can be quiet at times, though it is small.
Ventilation systems in the flats seem to be connected so I kept the fans off because when on, you can smell what everyone else is cooking up in their kitchens.
Lifts are always out of order then fixed, then out of order. I’ve been stuck in them myself before for close to 2 hours. Try and get a first or second floor flat if you can!
If the windows are closed you can’t hear anything from outside but when they’re open you will hear the trains or the noise in front of the station when it’s busy, depending which side of the building you’re on. In the winter the flats are absolutely freezing and the radiators are tiny and don’t emit enough heat. Would advise getting an electric blanket or something. In the summer it gets really hot when temps hit late 20s/30 outside.
Also the 2 beds are the same size as the 1 bed flats, you get one big bedroom in the 1 bed and for the 2 beds they basically just split that space into two bedrooms. Not sure what current prices are but it was £1300 for a 1 bed over a year ago and £1600 for a 2 bed. I could be wrong but I think they have studios that may be slightly cheaper too.

If you’re planning on having guests you’ll have to step over a homeless person on the entrance to the building
Don’t do it, it’s expensive for what it is

I got an air BnB there once. The entrance to it was to the right of the station entrance, near a gym. Long story short, someone was shooting some porn there because they didn't take any of their 'equipment' home with them.
Trains aren't 24/7 but not far from it. Should be almost no trains running between 2-6am but I could be wrong.

I lived there two years, Aaron on reception is a star, i'm a female, lived alone and worked nights, i felt safe, one person got shot outside by police but it's okay, you can't hear the trains and sometimes it's noisy but no more than anywhere else.
Lots of people who work for the estate agent live in the building.
It's very safe and neighbours are all respectful.

You can pretend you live at the United Nations building from superman. Sorry nothing of real value to add!
