Our dog passed away about 3 months ago. Not the place to really seek solace, I know, but damn if the pain just keeps going on and on. She was there for us in our lowest times. We cry for her still every night.

Nah fuck nihilism man, animals are a reason to live. My dogs have been getting old, 3 of them have passed all over age 15 and I miss them dearly. We still have one remaining, she’s 12 and recently we rescued a stinky little bulldog. She’s ugly, she’s smelly and I’ll be damned if I don’t love her. Even my cats too, I’ll be adopting animals until I die.
