Hello, i am looking forward to building a PC for 1080p/1440p that runs games at 60FPS (not the latest ones) and would like to know which of this options is better(both options cost about the same)
-Ryzen 5 5600 with 32 GB of ddr4
-Ryzen 5 7600 with 16 GB of ddr5
For anybody wondering the GPU would be a Rx7600 , an Intel arc b580 or a rtx 5060 (i still ha e to decide on that)

That CPU goed put of budget, I would like to keep It under 200€

Under budget you'll want to stick to a DDR4 RAM setup. If you want to stick to DDR5 then you can look at intel Core ultra 5 245k paired with intel arc GPU. Cheaper and efficient. Would easily run at what you want.

There's plenty of options that still fit on that socket. 12600K, 13400F, 14400F, 12400F if you even want to, thing's still fine.

go with ddr5

get on the newer platform 16gb is just fine if your gaming and got discord unless your gonna have alot of tabs open then i see 32gb being useful but better to be on the new platform then a dead one still got a upgrade path for your cpu, if you get ddr4 your gonna have to switch out everything and let’s say you want to upgrade when ddr5 ram is finally back to normal/cheap your am4 build would be basically worthless money wise since there’d be no point at that time when ever it happens just make sure if you get 16gb its dual channel

Doesn't sound like you're doing anything that calls for 32

Do not get a 5060. It is horrible value and sucks without PCIe 5.0. I'd get a 9060 XT instead if that's within your budget.
EoTrick@reddit
Yea, no. Not at the prices 9060xts are there. Horrible value, way worse than a 5060 unfortunately.

Too expensive a 9060xt is more than a 100€ more than the 5060 where i live

If what you are doing requires more than 16gb of memory then you need to get the 32gb setup. If you are just gaming and doing general Windows things then get the R5-7600 as it's closer to the R7-5800X3D in overall gaming performance. This has nothing to do with your GPU.

I would go with am5 and upgrade to 32gb later.
