Looking for a \~€1500 gaming PC build for 1440p — Croatia/EU
Budget:
\~€1500 (±€200), approximately $1650 USD. Tax included.
Use-case:
Gaming at 1440p. Mainly AAA titles — open world games and shooters. Target is 60+ fps, higher if the budget allows. No streaming, editing or workstation use.
Country of purchase:
Croatia, EU. No access to Micro Center or Amazon US. Main local retailers: Links.hr, ADM.hr, Instar-informatika.hr
Peripherals needed:
None. Already have a 1440p monitor, keyboard and mouse.
Other requirements / preferences:
No strong preference on AMD vs Intel or AMD vs Nvidia — whatever gives best value at this budget. Wired internet preferred. Quiet operation is a plus but not a dealbreaker. No specific size or aesthetic requirements.

Something like this might be an option: https://de.pcpartpicker.com/list/Ckwjph
I'm not sure what availability and pricing is like in Croatia, but Caseking in Germany have a large amount of stock and they ship to Croatia, so you can use the above list as a guide if you want.
You can achieve performance like this for less, this is more of a forward facing build for potential future upgradeability. With the explosion in RAM & storage pricing the performance of other components will take a hit on any budget.
The 9060 XT 16GB is a very capable 1440p card and shouldn't have issues giving you 60 FPS in open world story games, and shooters are generally less demanding, so they wont be a problem at all. The 7600X is a power efficient CPU, so it doesn't need a fancy, expensive cooler. The case choice could certainly be cheaper, but the Lancool 217 has a great feature set for easy building and it has reviewed very well for noise levels. Getting a power supply that provides more wattage than you need provides headroom for upgrades later on. A motherboard with a decent VRM and heatsink design will provide good power stability not only now but for potential power hungry CPU upgrades in the future as well.

That build has a very strong CPU, I'm also using it in my build at the moment. But the motherboard is very basic, and that CPU can pull 250W under load, so I probably wouldn't want those paired together. That's one of the issues with prebuilts, they tend to go with the cheapest motherboards and power supplies. That build also only has 16GB DDR4 RAM, which is no longer being manufactured, so if you ever felt like upgrading RAM at some point that might be very difficult. If you go with an Intel build from 12th-14th Gen, you are locked to that platform, there's no upgrade ability from there. It's the same with AMD's 5000 series, they are also DDR4.
I've had a look at a lot of the other prebuilts on the site. This one is a bit better: https://www.bigbang.hr/greed-mk2-pro-gaming-pc-stolno-racunalo-a-p-5000177725/
The CPU is still quite good with 8 cores/16 threads and the GPU is still the 5070, so the 1440p performance would be decent. It still uses a budget motherboard, but with a CPU that isn't as power hungry. And although the 5000 series CPU won't have much upgrade ability, the build has 32GB of DDR4, which will help more with the longevity of the build.
If you want a prebuilt in your budget with upgrade ability, you'd need a DDR5 platform like AMD's 7000/9000 CPUs, and that would mean getting spending more on the platform and getting a less powerful GPU to fit the budget.
