Slide 4 is what made me hate BLM. We couldn’t even attend funerals in person and these brainless chimps were allowed to burn down a city because a drug addict died of an overdose.
HeightAdvantage@reddit
Let me guess, you think he had a 'lethal dose' of fentanyl in his system?
The1Zenith@reddit
I read the toxicology report. Did you?
LegallyMelo@reddit
I read the autopsy report that concluded death by "CARDIOPULMONARY ARREST COMPLICATING LAW ENFORCEMENT SUBDUAL, RESTRAINT, AND NECK COMPRESSION".
Did you?
The1Zenith@reddit
I did, and there were a great many experts who disagreed with it. Prior to the riots and the toxicology report being released, I believed it was due to Derek Michael Chauvin’s method of restraining too. Now with the new evidence and the case being reexamined, the potential for Chauvin to be released is on the table.
LegallyMelo@reddit
Fat chance. The video confirms the autopsy report.
The1Zenith@reddit
The autopsy report wasn’t worth the paper it was written on and the video is just as worthless. Wouldn’t change my opinion either way. BLM had my support before they were given special treatment.
They used the death of a violent criminal drug addict as an excuse to chimp out, riot, and commit domestic terrorism. The government was too feeble and scared of being labeled racist to do shit about it but the rest of us couldn’t even gather for funerals or church services. Nah, fuck BLM and fuck anyone idolizing George Floyd.
LegallyMelo@reddit
Aww, you're mad the autopsy report didn't confirm your fee-fees. How sad.
The1Zenith@reddit
Given the toxicology report(which came out after the autopsy report) counters the falsified autopsy report and video? Yeah, it’s not my “fee-fees”, since I believed in BLM and the autopsy report up until the riots and toxicology report.
Valuable-Chipmunk784@reddit
You fool, he died because the pressure from Chauvin's knee ruptured the seal on his fent reactor.

Successfully bring an end to the very justified and threatening hong Kong riots that basically went quiet over night? Yeah, that shit was crazy
Gex2-EnterTheGecko@reddit
The government rules were annoying but the worst part of it all was the people who were obsessed with following them and acted as if you were actively trying to kill them if you didn't take them as seriously as they did. The way that fellow citizens were wielded as a weapon against anyone who questioned the narrative is something I will never forget.
I cooperated, I wore my mask in public, I stood 6 feet away from everyone, etc. And still I'd have people getting up in my shit over little things. I said I probably wouldn't bother getting the vaccine because I already caught it twice by the time it was out, and my mom reacted as if I admitted I was a rapist or something. Like full on tears and just acting astonished that she raised an "anti-vaxxer" even though I said I didn't have an issue with the shot, I just thought it was unnecessary.
HonestLemon25@reddit

Prestigious_Wrap_932@reddit
The government rules were ridiculous, but the OG Covid-19 was pretty bad. I was working for a Chinese company in San Francisco with an HQ based out of Wuhan at the time and Covid ripped through our office at the beginning of the pandemic when some executives came back to our office after Lunar New Year.
It was literally the sickest I’ve ever been, horrible pneumonia symptoms, loss of taste and smell, so much fluid buildup in my lungs that I had to sleep sitting up and I couldn’t get tested or seen by anyone because it was the first weeks of the lockdown and they wouldn’t test anyone who hadn’t actually been in Wuhan.
The crazy thing was, nobody else in my house got sick. I was sleeping on the couch coughing my guts out for over a week and everyone was exposed to it but it only about 1/5 of the household got it. Same thing at work, everyone was exposed but only the oldest/sickest/stressed out people got it. Nobody I knew under the age of 26 ever had a symptomatic infection.
They literally destroyed the economy to protect Boomers and their investments.
OutrageousQuantity12@reddit
And when the not serious strain of COVID was going around, Dems were telling people to go hug a Chinese person and not be afraid of the Chinese virus lol they all said they wouldn’t take “Trump’s vaccine” during the 2020 election then said you deserve to die if you didn’t get the vaccine

RobertOfHill@reddit
Couple things going on here.
Nancy Pelosi can get fucked, I dont give a shit about her photo ops. But the point was to try and reduce the racist dialogues surrounding the "Chinese virus". I get what they were going for, but or course Democrats miss the mark as per usual.
Your Politico link states that Kamela didn't trust what Trump said about the vaccine, but that credible sources would still be valuable in deciding on whether the vaccine was safe or not. Trumps word was the issue, not the vaccine.
CNN link says the same thing. People were trusting the word of Dr. Fauci and didn't trust trump. They wanted experts and scientists to weigh on before making a decision.
And the Reuters link says the exact same thing. Dont trust trump, wait for scientists and experts.
Did you even read these?
OutrageousQuantity12@reddit
Both links on vaccine hesitancy from the left quoted multiple dems saying they don’t know if they trust the FDA because Trump was in charge of it…
RobertOfHill@reddit
Trump being in charge of anything DOES throw its credibility out the window, though. Thats not a gotcha, or inconsistent with any other time trump is involved. WHO was still functioning at the time, and thats the organization everyone was waiting to hear from. Fauci among others were the voice of credible information, not Trump appointed yes men.
OutrageousQuantity12@reddit
You’re only proving my point. Dems were giant hypocrites during COVID. Republicans were giant dipshits during COVID too, don’t get me wrong.
RobertOfHill@reddit
What point? Nobody was spreading anti-vax rhetoric, they were saying wait for actual trusted sources before making a possibly risky decision. You're trying to imply that distrust for a pedophile and multiple time over sheister is somehow inconsistent with the general opinion and consensus of more left leaning groups. It isn’t. Right leaning science deniers are not the same as left leaning caution advisors. It simply isn’t equivalent.
OutrageousQuantity12@reddit
I think you hit every left wing defense mode talking point and buzzword lmao
Searril@reddit

RobertOfHill@reddit

RobertOfHill@reddit
I read your sources, they didn't support what you claimed, so now you're dancing around making false equivalences. Seen it a hundred times.

I mean more Americans died of Covid than every war we’ve fought since the Civil and that’s after all the lockdown buffoonery. Boomers weren’t the only fatalities either, it was a rather virulent disease
ddg31415@reddit
The way they counted the deaths was disingenuous. If you had covid and died of cancer, you were counted. If you were already dying of failing kidneys and you died while positive for covid, you were counted. So the death figures are severely inflated.
RobertOfHill@reddit
I mean, if I have a failing kidney, and then get shot in the head, I would consider that a death by shooting.
Bum_King@reddit
Right, but during Covid, your body would be brought to the morgue, they’d swipe your nose and run some tests, and then they’d proudly stand in front of your dead body with a giant hole in your head and say you died of Covid.

Plus the PCR tests were run against diagnostic protocol at 40 cycles so they detected COVID on pretty much anything.

My favourite moment was when everything was closed except for grocery shops obviously because the people would starve or something. And florists because people need... roses i guess? Oh and because our prime minister owns the largest florist chain in the country.
Takseen@reddit
Does grocery shop mean something different where you're from? Like yeah people would need somewhere to go buy food.
There were some weird exceptions in Ireland too though, like deli counter workers being treated as essential. Just make your own food bro, without someone breathing all over it first.

Put food spaced out exterior marketplace jesus christ, move the stores outside
McWeaksauce91@reddit
This actually happened close to me. A mom and pop sandwich shop little took an old rickety wooden stand that looked like a kids lemonade Stand and set it up outside. Couple of other places would make people wait outside and call people in 3 at a time

We had some utter batshit rules in the UK. My favourite moment was going to the dentist, where he rooted round in my mouth for 30mins with a flimsy mask on. After the dental work I wasn’t allowed to rinse my mouth with water. It was an actual rule given to them. So after I left I had to gob mouthfuls of blood and saliva on to the pavement.
The ‘rules’ were made by a bunch of civil servants sitting at home on Zoom/Teams.
I have about 30 more insane rules/moments.
ThirdHoleHank92@reddit

TorfriedGiantsfraud@reddit
Well ph me it is a real quote:
https://edition.cnn.com/2020/06/05/health/health-care-open-letter-protests-coronavirus-trnd
Now what a trip or what?
I had seen an exasperated Fauci uncomfortably trying to walk the line and repeating that "large public gatherings are bad and risky ok" while refusing to explicitly say "BLM protests are risky", but this takes this all to a whole new level way past Poe Dameron's lightskipping montage.
To their minimal credit, they do talk about risk reduction recommendations within the BLMao protests, and they do manage to squeeze in a semi-lucid "we think this protest against Whitesup Pigs outweighs Cofcof in importance" in there – which by itself is obviously at least a cohesive stance.
And they even remember to emphasize that "white supremacy also causes higher disease rates among Capitalized Black People", which sorta justifies them weighing in on this socio-political subject "as health professionals" – I'd personally also add that treating gunshot etc. victims (or conducting autopsies) is also their department, so police shootings aren't entirely outside their arena.
But that's all of course accompanied by hilarious explicit self-contradictions like talking about the noble "protesters who put themselves at (heroic justifiable) risk by being there, and how to mitigate this and damage control" vs. "as medics we do not condemn the BLMfao gatherings as risky",
listing apparently biologically caused factors that makes black people more susceptible to covid (cause it takes longer to be detected, and other stuff like that) but then also fully blaming this on White Supremacy,
and all this while advocating for predominantly Black led protests that are supposed to defeat the White Supremacy which puts them at higher risk of bad Covid but are also gonna result in all these vulnerable black people giving each other the Coof by..... putting themselves at risk (their own words!!) via attending these protests.
All those "walk in established formations and don't intermingle too much with other sub-groups and keep le distance if possible" measures are gonna reduce the spread of infection but not undo the risk&harm that will still be increased by attending the protests at all – again acc. to these medics themselves.
But white Supremacy causes Black People to be more vulnerable to Covid, so these protests are gonna undo this disproportionate risk that they're exposed to!!
And then yeah plenty of various gems like "as health professionals we prioritise anti-racism above all" and all that stuff.
Sometimes it gets semi-justified by "this is le urgent and if not defeat Racism now then never so that's why we prioritize this Supreme Public Health Crisis of Racism, plus we're not prophets and can't know the pandemic will fizzle out in a year so we we don't know how ultra long it's gonna last so we can't wait with this urgent matter", but what they don't address is that the only arguably urgent aspect of that racism was protesting the fresh cop shooting incidents – anything about this general Systemic Racism that may or may not also be causing poorer health and disease susceptibility among blacks is quite far removed from this, isn't more urgent now than at any point before but rather a more general longterm issue, WON'T substantially get improved by dismantling trigger happy cops,
and repeatedly protesting against disease exacerbating Racism while exacerbating a disease via these protests is pants on head restarted.
Oh Covid makes it urgent, well protest it by boosting the spread of Covid among your vulnerable demo.
Oh Covid will take years, well these protests against racism-caused Covid exacerbation are gonna keep going and keep exacerbating Covid, again guess among which demographic mainly.
Could any satirist have even ever dreamt of outdoing this?
I can't believe I managed to miss this at the time, this is like 1000 times clownier than anything I remember bumping into back then.
TorfriedGiantsfraud@reddit
Oh, almost sometimes? So still not quite enough to warrant prioritizing it then, or what
And now they're gonna even more disproportionately than already.
Sad to have to still greenlight it though
Why is now this last all-deciding moment, and how can you guarantee that as a medic? Not even "experts" in politics crime and law enforcement tyranny creep social conflicts etc. could "guarantee" something like that ‐ nor even name any quantified probabilities like doctors can for sufficiently studied case types.
So we don't know how long Coof will last but definitely shorter than racism – so that means..... wait it out and then protest this big long term thing when it's medically safe again?
This is obviously a stupid prospect, but it's funny how THIS is named as the causal cause of that claimed "urgency now or never", when if anything this premise would suggest the opposite lol
If the justification for the urgency had been sth else, then "now or never to stop this even longer HEALTH CRISIS so disregard shorter actual health crisis" would've at least been half coherent - but this way it just comes off as airheaded valley rambling instead.

We approve of these gatherings that are risky for transmission, and support and prioritize them as vital to the threatened health of black people due to Racism which almost outweighs the threat by the Covid virus – and that WITHOUT them fueling the fire via additional mass gatherings.
Now the white supremacy caused threat truly can't catch up anymore – so make protesting against it your highest priority.
Second safest, lagging behind nr 1 of cancelling these still risky gatherings – again, your own words.
Ah yes yes conflate covid measure skepticism, economic liberty / small government Republicans who might reasonably find common cause with that, and far-right white supremacists whose ideology has nothing to do with any of this and who just jump on this bandwagon for tribal 2 party culture war reasons – opposed by other far-righters and whitesups who initially took the "responsible pandemic measures" position and in some cases still adhere to it.
Just cause they overlap that means their Venn diagram is a circle and they're all the same thing. Coof skepticism/libertarianism ≈ white supremacy. Rooted in it in fact.
What absolute primitives partisan brainrot.
Are we sure these medical experts aren't Fachidioten who aren't quite as smart about external subjects like politics or avoiding theme park LR spectrum drivel?
Cause these protests also foster additional burden of Covid 19 on BLackMao communities. Must be supported.
TorfriedGiantsfraud@reddit
Taken on an ENORMOUS risk (that means statistically it becomes a reality for a good percentage of the participants) of quadrupling their chances of getting Covid while being more vulnerable to it,
in order to advocate for their own health and against their heightened risk of catching a harder case of Covid.
And their surrounding communities and public (presuming protesters don't form their own isolated community, which then in fact WOULD have justified them being able to gather with much less disapproval from doctors – .....aaaand since their glazers don't mention such an excellent justification for their heroes anywhere, it ain't occurring) are now also at greater risk thanks to them.
Great tackling of the public health problem there
The goal of protesting against heightened risk of Covid due to racist discrimination, while heightening that risk via gatherings, and thus adding on top of what Dr. Abby Hussein already said already narrowly outweighs the racism menace.
Anyway so yeah gone through the whole letter now – it did have to be seen to be believed, that much is certain.
