Every other website like sportsman's warehouse has them as 7+1 as well. I copied the same model UPC into Google after seeing your comment. The YouTube review I watched says it's 7+1. This website says PRODUCT DETAILS ARE NOT GUARANTEED TO BE ERROR FREE. That's weird to have. It really seems like it's gonna be 7+1

I have this exact model, and its 9 + 1. Then again, I've only shot 38SPL through it, so maybe its the max capacity when using 357. I'll have to buy a box of 357 and see for myself. Average size different is a couple of millimeters

I've been stalking the marlin 1894 dark for months. Pretty much daily... I've actually caught 3 in stock on websites but they all wanted 1800+ for it.

Midway's site said "overdue" for the longest time, and now says the eta is Jan 2027.

I think I'm formally giving up on the marlin and buying this.

Its a smooth shooter, but I'd say Marlin should have better QC. I don't have a Marlin, but I bought this exact model recently, and the barrel is timed incorrectly. It isn't square to the receiver, slightly canted to the right. I'd be reaching out to Henry soon for warranty.

I own this model…I restrict myself to 3 long guns when I go to the range. Despite having more choices than fingers and toes, this Henry always ends up taking one of the spots.

I do own a Marlin, but not in .357. I owned the Marlin before the Henry, its quality is not noticeably better or worse than my Henry.
