I worked as a fragrance demonstrator when it came out. It was good money for a high school/ college kid but more than anything, you got to see all the new fragrances. I’ve worked on fragrance development for a number of years and looking at the packaging, it was wicked expensive to make. Those were the good old days of fragrance. I remember launching Ralph Lauren Safari and they had us in Ralph Lauren linen blouses that were a few hundred bucks at the time.

This was my all time favorite perfume! I got so many compliments whenever I wore it. I have never found another perfume that worked on me as well as Liz Claiborne did, and I've tried hundreds! Almost every other fragrance would go sour on me, but not Liz! It also smelled different (and many said better) on me than it did my friends!
