That was me too. We only got satellite in 1998 when my grandma came to live with us and she needed to watch the Waltons.

I used to watch this show even though I was a bit old and I learned a lot. They did used to censor stuff from literature, like Injun Joe from Tom Sawyer was referred to as "Crazy Joe"
