First PC Build (1500eurobudget)

I've always been a console gamer but I've recently decided to switch to PC. I was looking at Pre Builds but saw that its cheaper to build them yourself. I'm based in Ireland and my budget is 1500 euro for the pc and a monitor ( I have the rest ). I'd like to play at 1440p at medium to high quality settings, 100-150 fps mainly for shooters, racing games, etc. I created a build list (https://ie.pcpartpicker.com/list/mYBykD) on PCPartPicker using my limited knowledge and with help from YouTube. Its come out over budget and was wondering if I have gone overboard with the parts for what I need or how can I get the parts for cheaper as it seems they only take prices from the one website. Help very much appreciated.

OS and screen is usually not included in budgets. Therefore 1500 is a bit tighter. You should be able to get a good 180+ Hz monitor for below 160€ (-20€). You could get a better and newer PSU, but there is not much to save. You should be able to get a B850 mainboard for 120€ (-20€). 185€ is pretty expensive for a R5 7600. A 9600 X should be better for the same price, so no saving. So overall you save 40€ with these changes.
The main reason why it is so expensive is RAM and the GPU. 473€ for a 16 GB RX 9060 XT is far too expensive. It should be around 400€. So this would be (-70€). 32 GB of RAM are insanelx expensive since a few months. 16 GB should pretty much still be fine if you don't have many programs in the background. That would almost half costs for that part.
Also, you are missing a CPU cooler.

Thanks for the help. Would it be better to look for second hand parts? I did find a second hand Ryzen 5 7600 for €140. Also would one 16gb stick of ram be better than 2 8gb sticks?

Paying 185€ for the 9600X should be better as the 7600 is quite a bit weaker. If the 9600X isn't available for that for some reason the Ultra 5 245KF would also be an option. That part should be available at around 170€ and there are also some decent Intel B860 boards for 120–130€. Two 8 GB sticks are actually better than one 16 GB because most current CPUs can handle two memory channels simultaneously.

i revised my list and replaced (https://ie.pcpartpicker.com/list/Qg3jph). I'm able to get the 9600x for 155 euro and the PSU for 85 euro. Is this a solid build or can it be tweaked?

That's actually a pretty good price for the 9600X. The price shown in pcpartpicker for the mainboard is a bit high. But everything else is very solid.

The 7600 and 9060 xt 16gb is a good pairing, 32gb of ram will be more than enough for gaming, 1tb of storage is enough for a decent amount of games, honestly just get a 850w psu so you won't need to upgrade your psu if you get a more power hungry gpu later on.

A very sensible component list, man stuff has gotten expensive.
