Looking for apartments near dart line

Got a job in downtown Dallas on Ross Ave and looking for an apartment near a dart stop. I’m looking for a studio or one bedroom 1500 or under. The only things I care about is a washer and dryer and a safe area where I don’t have to worry about car break/ins and homeless. I’m ok with being in a more boring area or living in a small apartment.

Look over in the medical district near the Inwood DART Station. Lots of apartments over there. The Mockingbird station area is also nice, but I’m not sure if the rent situation.

I was considering medical district but I see a lot of apartments in that area have car break ins

Happens in just about every complex. Don't leave anything of value in your car and you should be fine.

There is an apartment complex right next to the Whiterock Dart Station at Lawther and Northwest Highway. The Parc at White Rock

If you're looking for safety you gotta look outside of Dallas proper.
Farmers branch, Carrollton, las colinas, Richardson will be your best bets.
Farmers branch: it has only one station and it's right next to an apartment complex and shopping area. The apartment complex is called mustang station they should have something in your range.
Carrollton: downtown Carrollton or Trinity mills downtown Carrollton has more options.
Las colinas: you're gonna be looking along lake Carolyn parkway. This neighborhood has been developed for a while so there's a lot of older buildings, do not get in one of those they got foundation issues, plague/rodent issues and plumbing issues.
In Richardson the only station I'm familiar with is cityline but you'll probably want something closer to downtown.

That’s so full of shit? I’d like to hear where in Dallas outside of past Downtown on the Green line heading down the 175-ish corridor and heading toward the VA is unsafe.
I’m sure there’s some real substance to be engaged with beyond suburban/NIMBY vibes.
Agile_Definition_415@reddit
All of it.
You're talking about fair park, east Dallas and pleasant grove. That whole area is shady.
Is it "unsafe"? You won't get killed but you sure as shit are getting your car broken into. Which is exactly what OP does not want.
chugtron@reddit
There are other options beyond that, though that aren’t the suburbs?
The entire blue line corridor headed north from downtown, the orange line corridor in both directions, and the red line corridor are all generally fine.
Pleasant Grove and places by it aren’t all of Dallas Proper, bud.
Agile_Definition_415@reddit
You still got homeless people in all those corridors.
chugtron@reddit
Ok, and? It’s yet to bother me or any other commuter along those routes.
Agile_Definition_415@reddit
That's literally something OP specifically mentioned they don't want.

I live in Richardson and love it. I’m not in apartment but would recommend you doing a little research on the area.

Addison circle might be a good place to start

Not for commuting downtown by train.
