Cataract surgeries were fun. I can now say I've tried fentanyl twice. But what really trips me out is all the weird noises my body makes every time I move. Wife got one on deal dash. Hooked it up and downloaded the app, paired it up. It was cool for maybe a week. Our feeders are only about 20 ft from the house, so we weren’t missing much not looking at the app/camera. You’re not told how much of a pain in the ass it is to keep clean, and the seed box is the size of 2 cigarette boxes. So it has to be filled almost daily, depending on your neighborhood bird habits. It lasted about 6 months and I got rid of it.

I have progressives. I would just wear them, but the work computer distance gives me a headache. I sometimes have to wear them during allergy season because my number one symptom is itchy eyes. I wear contacts, and I have reading glasses for everything. Work computer, home computer, reading on my Kindle, reading on my phone, playing games on any device…

If I have to drive very far at night, I’ll wear glasses, because the astigmatism contacts are a pain in the ass. I can’t do mono vision because my prescription is too high…I tried, but I was getting almost motion sick and my already trash depth perception was horrible. My mom has a lower prescription and did mono vision forever. She finally started having trouble seeing up close in her 70s and usually wears glasses now.

My eye doctor had me try on contacts that were a lower prescription so I could ditch the reading glasses, but it just felt like I couldn’t see ANYTHING clearly.

I have reading glasses, scissors, and tweezers everywhere. I just buy 5-packs of cheap readers on Amazon. If I lose them or they break, I just buy another pack.

I don’t have prescription sunglasses, but one pair of glasses has Transitions lenses. I don’t think they really get dark enough for bright sunlight, though.

Split - king because my husband has restless leg syndrome - he's medicated, but there are nights with breakthrough movement.

Adjustable frame because I've already had 5 orthopedic surgeries (all repairs), and at 59, I'm sure there will be more. I'd like to avoid sleeping in a recliner post-op.

We got one in our early 40s, lol! I absolutely love it. Sometimes hubby wants his feet up a bit, sometimes I need my upper body raised, we can adjust in the middle of the night without disturbing the other person. So many great things!

Sheets are a bitch to find though. Twin XL is hard enough, but we also have a pillowtop, so they're 18" pockets. Also, the bed is TALL! I'm 5'2" and need to climb/ jump into it.

If you go this route you may want to forego a frame to eliminate the additional height. But honestly, I feel a bit like a princess getting into bed each night!

My hammock chairs are the best thing ever. I got the ones with stands because I don’t trust the porch ceiling. The hammock part gets kinda yuck after a while, but new hammock swings are cheap. I bought big throw pillows for the seats (it helps them not get tangled in the wind and makes them easier to get in and out of). The covers are washable. I also have cheap throw blankets. My porch is the best.

Good question - I don't have an answer for you. My wife got a full hysterectomy and I had damage to my hormonal system after an autoimmune flare-up resulting in both of us needing supplementing.

There was a warning in the literature that stated testosterone replacement therapy can often improve mood. If you are on antidepressants or mood stabilizing medications, monitor changes in your mood with your prescribing physicians. Does that answer your question?

Confused squirrels are great...years ago our apartment building cut down a dead tree. I surprised a squirrel by rounding the corner of the building suddenly...it tried to run up the tree I swear was there yesterday (it was). Very confused and relieved squirrel, as he was sure I'd capture him (cause thats what those two-legs do, right?) And I didn't.

I have something similar. It goes into the window so the glass part is inside my living room and then I just put food in it and they come inside, but not, and I’ll be sitting there and there’s a bird just eating. It’s so cool.

The best part is when the squirrels try to launch themselves from the roof of the porch, hoping to land on the feeder only to slide right off because the feeder is made from acrylic. I'll occasionally hear a thnk sound and look below to see a confused squirrel on the ground. 🤣
