skyl9@reddit
The same people criticizing this, have stupid clone AR15 parts they overpaid for.
Moto_Glitch@reddit
Pretty cool for people who already own cz's have to use existing panels on 👍
Buttoshi@reddit
Is the shadow 2 grip that good compared to standard ar grips?
AwkwardSploosh@reddit
It's nice. No AR grip will make you better shooter though, and anything beyond a K2 is just preference/aesthetic maxing.
shadowbansarestupid@reddit
Nah. Definitely not at this price.
CamelAdventure@reddit
I personality don't think so
BaneTra1n@reddit
You guys are really out here paying $100 PLUS the cost of panes for a fucking AR grip? Jesus, the industry really has figured out how to milk you guys dry
FadingFX@reddit
I mean I’m not buying it but I also weirdly don’t hate the idea. If there is a pistol you REALLY like the grip style of and wanna stick it on an AR. I say go for it you do you.
BaneTra1n@reddit
That’s a totally reasonable and fair request. For like $25 max lol
TheHeroChronic@reddit
Don't buy it then? Ain't that hard my guy
youy23@reddit
https://www.reddit.com/r/CZFirearms/s/K5G6XERL8r
You put this shit on an AR15 and it would almost make you wish for a nuclear winter.
FadingFX@reddit
Oh yeah, though I do buy stupid expensive parts occasionally, I spent $450 on a BCG for a dumb build for example, a grip module probably shouldn’t be $100
OldDevice1131@reddit
Remind me of my friend asking why I spent more on my lower instead of an Anderson.
I’m still not sure.
Haggis2525@reddit
I put a 1911 style grip on one of my ars just so I could have matching grip panels on the rifle and pistol. So I can totally understand this if you really like the cz.
FadingFX@reddit
I have a buddy who is a GIANT 1911 nerd, I should get that for him as a gag gift for his birthday this year
blessedbymortarion@reddit
I really like my CZ, I ain’t buying this lmao
Way_2_Go_Donny@reddit
Have you heard of SOLGW?
Sh00tYourEyeOut@reddit
This plus Lok grips are 3% of the cost of one of my ARs. What's the big deal?
DaPainfulTruth@reddit
Don’t be a poor.
YouveGotNothingToSay@reddit
I'm not poor, because I don't spend $100+ on $10 AR parts like a fucking idiot
BaneTra1n@reddit
It’s become customary that more $ = better to these fucks. Consooooom
CountFauxlof@reddit
Don’t be a consumer whore
Cold-Fisherman-5768@reddit
There's poor and then there's retarded.... this is retarded
OldDevice1131@reddit
But my vytal grips would look great
MiserableConflict959@reddit
Feels great too
Ren_Kaos@reddit
Love mine!
MK12Mod0SuperSoaker@reddit
A Stribog running CZ grips and a Scorpion mags. Might as well call it a Pseudoscorpion
Ren_Kaos@reddit
I really debated putting the scorpion irons on it too 😂
Blackmist71@reddit
Big fan of that cerakote, where did you get it done?
Ren_Kaos@reddit
Thanks! It’s actually a custom aluminum anodization by Ashley.Anodize.it on instagram.
clicktoseemyfetishes@reddit
Pricey, I’d assume?
Ren_Kaos@reddit
I thought it was pretty reasonable, it was around $400 irc for the upper lower and stock, oh and I had a 1911 grip done too that I decided not to use.
clicktoseemyfetishes@reddit
Fairly priced sure, that’s about what MPA charges for their custom anodized finishes on their chassis. Still steep but I bet it looks nice and is durable
Ren_Kaos@reddit
It’s very pretty in person. Wasn’t exactly what I wanted but that’s my fault, she was very communicative, I just felt bad after asking her to change it once already. The lower and upper are also different types of aluminum so the dye took differently and they don’t match 100%.
But I definitely recommend having her do your stuff if she’s still doing guns.
clicktoseemyfetishes@reddit
Not super familiar with custom anodizing or anodizing in general, is it usually single color/"random" colors or can designs be done? My mind always goes back to this post whenever I think about custom finishes https://www.reddit.com/r/longrange/comments/1epyaph/making_race_guns_great_again/
Ren_Kaos@reddit
Check her out on instagram. I imagine she could probably do anything you wanted but I’m not sure. An actual pattern would require a lot more work I’d imagine.
Think of it like tie dye, the anodization is a porous layer that absorbs the dye so you’d have to fill that layer with something like glue to prevent the dye from soaking in where you don’t want it.
AutomataDeObama@reddit
That's the ugliest fuckin thing I've ever seen. I want one.
Ren_Kaos@reddit
I call it my St•reee•bog
kosanovskiy@reddit
For when you think CZ Shadow 2 is the best pew pew and everything must become a Shadow 2. I approve.
youy23@reddit

You put this shit on an AR15 and it would almost make you wish for a nuclear winter.
Pof_509@reddit
One question:
Why?
PlzNotThePupper@reddit
I raise you one more question:
Why not?
CMOS_Arch@reddit
Because who spends $100 plus shipping/tax to put pistol slabs on their AR15?
PlzNotThePupper@reddit
I mean, I spent like $80 bucks putting the ICM 1911 grip adapter and 1911 grips on a completely polished raw aluminum AR that I polished and have never even shot lol.
Not everything in life has to make sense. Sometimes you do things just for the fun of it!
sockfoot@reddit
Someone who doesn’t look at $100+ the exact way you do?
Fearless-Jeweler-318@reddit
so a fake rich dingdong with a 90% dept/income ratio, maybe he can get a woox handguard to go with the EPIC shadow 2 grip!!
Full-Following5575@reddit
DingDong build
Everyone is entitled to their opinion, doesn’t mean it’s correct, but entitled. Woox handguard is a good idea, might run with that. Appreciate the build name idea.
CMOS_Arch@reddit
Obviously. But I shoot a S2 in USPSA Carry Optics, and I genuinely don't understand why someone would want a S2 pistol grip on an AR.
I'm at a match right now, asked a couple of other guys, and they're giving me the same blank expression that I had :)
clicktoseemyfetishes@reddit
My Shadow Crossover Grip from DAC is really nice and I prefer it to all the Magpul and B5 grips I’ve tried. That said it’s a blem that I got for like $25 lol
sockfoot@reddit
It isn’t for everyone, obviously, but if enough people want it and are willing to pay (which I guess they are?) then so be it.
CMOS_Arch@reddit
Yah, I'm not judging, just don't get it.
Glad you're happy with it.
BTW, my favorite S2 grips, by far, are the LOK Grip palm swells w the bogie dimples.
sockfoot@reddit
Oh I don’t have one, nor necessarily any plans to get one but I wouldn’t say never and the price wouldn’t be a concern if I wanted one.
Exactly the grips I run on my S2, with a blue liner.
MiserableConflict959@reddit
People who want to feel pistol slabs on their AR15 and aren't too worried about $100 plus shipping/tax?
gunplumber700@reddit
Cz shadow fits my hand the best, but I’m sure as shot not paying 100 plug grips for that
NaperVillainBunny@reddit
Because looks cool. Because it may create consistency and familiarity across platforms for CZ shooters. I have extra grips from my Shadow and my SP-01. Would be interesting to throw this on with some rubber panels. Not interesting enough for me to actually purchase. But I could see the draw.
RedWhiteAndJew@reddit
Grips on a handgun are an order of magnitude more important than on a rifle. You have three points of contact and the firing hand is arguably the very least of the three and so it doesn’t or shouldn’t really matter.
FireLaced@reddit
There is a printable model for this if you know where to find such things
joe0418@reddit
Any recs for a 3d printer?
redoggle@reddit
I got a bambu p2s and love it. You gotta do some work to get it running in LAN only mode though. And I did some extra network magic to be 100% sure it can't reach anything other than the PCs I send prints and monitor it with.
RainbowZucchini@reddit
The Qidi q2 has great features out of the box and you’ll be able to print any filament you want. The new bambu x2d looks pretty interesting too but the extra features aren’t needed and bambu has been suspect when it comes to privacy if that’s a concern of yours.
SFOTI@reddit
I got my Q2 the other day and although I've only printed PLA and PETG on it so far, it's pretty plug-n'-play and prints are coming out great.
thatswhyicarryagun@reddit
P1S or better. Add a hardened steel nozzle and gears. You can print 99% of the filaments out there virtually flawlessly out of the box.
FireLaced@reddit
Bambu if you have the budget and value your time, less work to operate.
Qidi, Elegoo seem to be popular on the budget side. On a good sale, Creality works, but can be more demanding on the tinkering and maintenance.
SmoothJ1mmyApollo@reddit
Fastforge were like $145 on Temu a day or two ago.
Euphoric911@reddit
Get one of the enclosed ones, Bambu used to be top notch, not sure if theres better option nowadays
I got one of the more tinkery DIY ones and it printed fine the first few times but then something happened and I cant even get it close to calibrated anymore
slasher0739@reddit
P1S with the hardened nozzle and extruder gears, and an external dryer (SH02) gets hot enough for nylon.
nobodysbeach@reddit
Great product made by great people. I'm glad somebody else posted it because I really didn't want to (cause i dont want em to go OOS) but the gundeals homies have helped me out so I was gonna have to. These typically sell faster than they can make em. The shadow grip shape works really well on a rifle, cz r&d got it right. A proper grip can help you holding the rifle one handed and with comfort over sustained use. The weight of this would be nice on hunting and target ARs. Lots of companies making really nice grip panels for the shadow in many styles (thin, swell, brass, texture). Buy once cry once.
nobodysbeach@reddit
The people sweating the cost should consider the 3d printed shadow crossover grip. It's done really well too.
Dung_Beetle_2LT@reddit
Picking CZ owners man.
Sea_Cardiologist7982@reddit
I guess they found a new machinist for this batch?
AvatarWest45@reddit
I got a response from the owner a couple weeks ago about this. Long story short this batch is the last from the original machinist. He had a stroke which put a huge delay in production. They swapped over to a larger facility (same the produces their polymer stuff) to make them so should continue to stay in stock.
ChiefTitan808@reddit (OP)
that was my thought when i got the in stock notification. glad to see he could keep it going
volckerwasright@reddit
Lots of people throwing their poor privilege around in these comments. Gundeals is for ALL gun owners, hate to break it to you.
MiserableConflict959@reddit
Love this comment.
AvatarWest45@reddit
This sub brings out the most fudd ass people lol clearly there is no tactical advantage to this grip. No throwing this on your ruger ar-15 isn’t going to make you a better shooter. It’s for the Gucci builds. For the guys wanting a matching theme. DAC is owned by a great dude and still relatively small, so production cost for something like this is a huge expense. If you can’t fork it out then it’s not for you. Your Magpul k2 will do fine.
Fearless-Jeweler-318@reddit
average person that owns a shadow 2 would buy this overpriced slop
Delicious_Windows@reddit
As cool as these are by the time you buy this and a nice set of cz shadow palm swell panels you are $200 into an AR grip that has no benefits outside of aesthetics
farmerpabs@reddit
Man, if someone could share the 10% off coupon you get after your order, ill pass mine to the next person and we can start a chain. Had one going last year lol idk if that's even a thing anymore.
Fermi-Diracs@reddit
Can someone fill the rest of us in on why this is favorable?
Hisetic@reddit
Instagram, lol.
Sea_Cardiologist7982@reddit
It’s a very niche item for CZ fan boys like myself that want something unique and custom for their AR builds. Definitely not for everyone though since once you include the cost of grips from Loks or Vytals, the whole thing comes close to $200.
JOEYballsGOTTI@reddit
Fuck that, slap some Marschals on there for a really classy grip.
Fermi-Diracs@reddit
That's fair. I love CZ but my ARs are all beaters and PSA so it would be wasted. I feel like if I buy this then it needs to go on some primo shit.
malicious-turd@reddit
To me it's a buy once cry once thing. I prefer the feeling of metal in my hand over plastic, and with some nice grips it's more abrasive and looks better than any plastic grip. I don't see the point of ever buying more than 1 AR chassis (I can just swap a barrel out it takes less than a minute) so I'm willing to spend a bit more to get the 1 set of furniture how I like it
North-Woods69@reddit
Lowers and uppers can break just like anything else lol.
One bad fall and you can warp shit. One bad round and the whole thing can be questionable to shoot afterwards
You do you though
SpaceCampDropOut@reddit
And fill in the rest of the grip while they’re at it
bjchu92@reddit
Because it lets them make fancier looking firearms.
"Look at my AR with these custom grip panels."
Sea_Cardiologist7982@reddit
Been waiting months for this! In for one
ChiefTitan808@reddit (OP)
glad i could help someone out
