Spend a bunch of money on the best folding lock you can buy - or a good U lock and a cable at least.

do a zero service (in a shop you trust if you don't want to do this yourself). You'll thank me later.
All Cube bikes I've assembled this year did not have grease anywhere they should, thread locker was something really cheap that jammed the threads and did not prevent loose screws. Most forks needed zero service due to no oil and grease in them. One bike had headset bearings upside down and leaking brakes (some dummy overtorqued bleed screws and destroyed caliper threads).

Yeah a quick gut check from someone that sees 20 bikes a day is always the first play... but make sure you give it a test ride immediately. Tell them you're going to give it a test ride before they work.
When I was young and naive I just about plowed myself into a tractor because they tightened the front brakes but not the back. I don't like using front brakes because I'm always scared I'm gonna flip ass over teakettle like it's a penny farthing, so it's always back brakes first and front if needed.
Bought myself an allen wrench and a book about bike maintenance on the way home.
(This was before the internet, we didn't know we didn't know things until we needed to know them back then)

Seat looks a little low. Make sure that when you are seated there is a *slight* bend in the knee when the ball of your foot is on the pedal in the six o'clock position.

Looks like it may have a dropper post FWIW.

Looks expensive, how much did it set you back?

Make sure brakes adjusted properly . Can have a combination of both drag which chews up battery and poor stopping . Going faster all the time , need stopping power for safety . Sad people don't have fenders as standard item, yes they don't look great , but so functional . A rack and panniere is awesome , ride to work all the time. Head and tail lights good for you and cars to see you.

air up the tires to max pressure.
really helps the range.

Terrible advice, please don’t do this OP.
Worried_Document8668@reddit
just no.
OP would greatly regret that if they take their mountainbike to actual mountainbiking.Max pressure would rattle your teeth even on full-sus and would make it incredibly hard to find grip through a lot of obstacles

Looks very nice. Have fun riding! Make sure to tune your suspension before doing so.

Get some lights and a good quality helmet.
Worried_Document8668@reddit
nice bike.
bed in those brakes if it hasn't happened at the shop you got it from
check your sag to see if the suspension is set right for your weight

Thanks mate 👍🏻

just another basic setup tip: check the sram and vittoria tyre pressure calculators to get an idea where to start for your weight and chosen riding
