Will the 5070ti be able to do 4k with dlss on quality ?

Alright I’ve seen a ton of people saying yes it can do 4k some saying it can’t.
I play on a Samsung qd oled tv and it’s a 4k tv so it will be played at 4k. The rest of my rig can handle anything it’s the gpu I have concerns about.
The 5080 just doesn’t have the value proposition I feel like I would be better off with the 5070ti and just use dlss I’m only aiming for 60 fps and I’m ok turning down a few setting to get there and have decent frames rates to get the most out of the 5070ti maybe even over clock it a bit and then wait and see what next gen brings.
Can I really game at 4k with a 5070ti if I turn down a few setting and adjust some stuff and still have it look really good ?

Yes, my 4070TI does just that

I play 4k 60hz on most games either native, quality or standard dlss and raytraving with an OG 4070.
Anyone that thinks a 5070ti cant handle 4k is mistaken.

5070ti price difference was good before but now its going 1000 plus which is close to the zotac 5080 1249 so why would you buy 5070ti at basically the same price. ? Go compare prices on Amazon.

Is a zotac a decent brand ?

I had 3080 from them I had it for 3 years it was really good if you are in doubt check the reviews.

Big brain comeback buddy.

You're good. If you're willing to tweak settings you can play any game on the market right now on 4K
Some games that have poor optimization may require you to turn down/off path tracing or ray tracing or something, but other than that, you'll be able to play any game on the planet right now, on 4K with 60FPS

60fps yes. Honestly with DLSS 4.5 I would run performance mode at 4k. I use it with my 4090 and get insane fps and I have to be pixel peeping to notice the difference. And I used to hate performance mode.
HisDivineOrder@reddit
Depends on the game and the settings, and especially on how you feel about RT and framerate.

Yes I have a 5070 non ti and play at 4k just fine. Don't ways have to use dlss either. Typically get 70-140 fps no upscalijg depending on the game. If I have to I use dlss. With dlss 4.5 performance often times looks just as good as quality too BTW. Depends on the game too tho.

Mostly new UE5 games will be harder to hit 60fps with no DLSS. It’s harder to notice going from quality to ultra performance when playing on a tv. On my monitor it’s easier to tell.
I play on high-ultra settings on performance DLSS on my 77inch LG C4. I’ll get 80-110fps that way. On some single player games I’ll turn on 2x frame gen to hit my TVs 144hz limit.
Also don’t be afraid to overclock your 5070ti. You can gain an extra 5-10% numb. I’m personally running a slight OC with a slight UV. And I have a pure OC preset for the more demanding games.

yes

Heavy rt or path tracing is always hard to run, even on 5090. Thats why nvidia trying to improve dlss performance and ultra performance. But if the game doesnt have rt or pt or you just disable or lower rt, it will run smoothly on like 95% of games. Just 60fps is enough imo, bcs 2x framegen can make it 100+ and its hard to notice the artifacts on 2x

I sure did on both my 5070ti and 9070xt, works fine. Just don’t expect 4K gaming as something that needs maximum graphics settings all the time. Older games even run easily without dlss on. For some reason some people think only the 4090/5090 can do 4K gaming because they can do it with all the settings on ultra. The 5070ti can do it at very high or high settings, with sometimes some dlss. Looks great.

Man some of these comments are ridiculous and people just talking out of their ass.
I have a 5070ti and haven't played a single game I can't do over 100fps at 4k with dlss. Not even frame gen, just upscaling.
switch-hitt3r@reddit
Yes you’ll be golden with the 5070ti, especially since you’re going to utilize dlss and only targeting 60fps
Responsible_Tank3822@reddit
If 60fps is your goal than yea you'll be fine using the 5070ti for 4k.

It runs 4K fine, add a bit more overhead on those numbers to get an idea of what DLSS performance looks like.
gamblodar@reddit
Very much so. You can do 4K with upscaling at non-ultra settings on a 9070XT.
