How are they even gonna make this work like the original Ferngully had to deal with budget issues already yet still made a beautiful movie despite you seeing clear budget constraints.

There's also the fact Hexus straight up probably consumed the souls of a big part of the budget and animators. Hexus is a villain running off vibes and charisma which means you can't fucking half ass his animation AT ALL and you need someone who has Tim Curry energy unless you can somehow get him back for this which is unlikely considering his health issues post stroke. And there's only one Tim Curry. Like we straight up had limited screentime of Hexus because of how much he ate the budget but he's not a character you can cheap out.

So like is Hexus even gonna be in the movie or is he gonna be half assed.

And how are they gonna do even the backgrounds and shit? Like the amount of effort would be more expensive than just animating it again because there's gonna be a fuck ton CGI anyway unless they completely rework fairies as being human sized?
