Mine was a Smith and Wesson SD9 I picked up as a budget first pistol thinking it would just live in the nightstand and somehow it became my range gun, my loaner for new shooters, my "I just want to put rounds downrange and not think about it" gun, and the pistol I've put more rounds through than anything else I own. The trigger is famously not great and I keep saying I'll Apex it and never do. Still runs everything I feed it.
Show me yours. 🫢 Bonus points if it makes no sense on paper.

Bought it cause it was a great deal. $400 with 4 different barrels. In amazing shape.
Never really understood shotguns. But I had one of “everything” figured why not.
First time I put high velocity 1500fps 00 / Slugs through it, I understood. Its power is absurd. Its flexibility is 2nd to none. Wanna hunt quail or Doves? Got you. Wanna hunt deer? Got you. Wanna hunt a grizzly bear? Got you. Possibly even African Large game. Same 12ga. Protect the family, and not kill neighbors dog? Got you, spectacularly.
Then I figured out how damn fun it’s to shoot. My range has a clay launcher. Grabbed some #8 and went to town.
The fact that you can switch ammo on the fly, reload as you go, and has a range with the right shells up to about 100 yards in 00, and 150-200 yard with slugs.
It does literally anything.

Smith and Wesson model 10. So simple and paid 220 for it but one of my favorite guns to shoot, super accurate oddly enough. And it scratches the wheel gun itch. Great for friends and new shooters and not worried about tossing it around since it's been banged around a lot anyways. Love it!

I found a .17 HMR upper on sale and bought it for giggles. Figured I’d run it a time or two and then trade it off. It’s by far my favorite gun now.

Not sure if I fully understand your question, but I bought a Kriss Sphinx SDP to carry. Friend of mine had me try his and I loved it.
I had never carried a hammer fired gun and found out that the beaver tail stabs me in the gut everytime I sat down. Now it's just a range toy.
