Why do people call N. Macedonia "The Disneyland of the Balkans"?

What does that even mean?

The funny thing is people pretend that Skopje statues have been there since the beginning and is rooted in Macedonian nationalism when in when fact the project was built as a middle finger to Greece for breaking the Interim Accord Agreement:
The ICJ Ruling (2011) The case, Application of the Interim Accord of 13 September 1995 (the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia v. Greece), centered on Greece's decision to block Macedonia's invitation to join NATO at the 2008 Bucharest Summit.Â
Cour internationale de Justice  +1 The Verdict: By a 15-to-1 vote, the Court found that Greece violated Article 11, paragraph 1 of the Accord. Under this article, Greece had promised not to object to Macedonia's membership in international organisations as long as it was referred to by the provisional name "the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia" (FYROM). Greece's Defence: Greece argued its actions were a response to Macedonia's own alleged breaches of the Accord (such as using ancient symbols like the Vergina Sun). However, the ICJ rejected these as valid justifications for blocking the NATO bid, noting that Macedonia had largely ceased those specific violations years prior. Result: While a major diplomatic win for Macedonia, the ruling was largely symbolic. The ICJ did not order Greece to change its stance or impose penalties, and the blockade on NATO and EU accession continued until the Prespa Agreement was finally ratified in 2019.Â
Anyway it’s something that worked to our benefit since it drastically boosted tourism while the Greeks and Bulgars alike seethed behind their keyboards

Number 1 Larpers in the region
shortEverything_@reddit
Greeks calling others larpers when literally mainland Greeks are genetically 1:1 with Albanians, northern Greeks 1:1 with Macedonian and Bulgarians and Anatolian migrants are 1:1 with TurksÂ
You speak a language that’s close to Byzantine Greek the administrative language of a multiethnic empire that despised the label “Hellen” and associated it with blasphemous pagans and non believers.Â
Greek state was formed in 1830 around the time were lord Byron famously starched his head and asked where are the Greeks in AthensÂ
South Macedonia was occupied by Greece in 1913 and 1923 the population exchange with Turkey drowned out the Slavic presence which was further amplified by the forbidding and changing of Slavic topopnyms customs and language throughout the 20th centuryÂ

I apologize for my ignorance here, but why is there so much bad blood between Greece and N. Macedonia?
Obvious_Assistant481@reddit
It's the name dispute. Both countries claim to be the descendants of the ancient Macedonians and Greece blocked the country from using the name Macedonia from 1993 to 2019,until then it was called FYROM (Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia) until 2019 when Greece allowed them to use the name North Macedonia, although most Greeks refer to the country as "Skopje",from N. Macedonia capital name

I thought the N. Macedonians are Slavic peoples?

Well, it was told by the Yugo people for 46 years, and later 35 more, so it's time to change doesn't it?

It means it's like a rollercoaster country or specifically like a fun resort park, which means it's a unique case of a country that had disputed and stolen history, constitutional name, flag and communist coat of arms making it a country with changed statehood as all above was at some point changed.
It had also an ethnic conflict spread from the Yugo invasion of Kosovo and associated agreement along with two bilateral agreements with the EU neighbours for which they are currently in some or all form disputed from their government.
The current ethno national right government of MK called Vmro in the period between 2006-2015 installed ancient Greek Hellenic architecture and identity which needed to boost the population against Greece and the EU for the name dispute which was later resolved.
It's national heros had Bulgarian origin, namely and the most notably Georgi Nikolov Delchev which is encoded in the MK anthem itself.
