Permit Holder ready to drive

I’ve enrolled in a trucking academy in Southern California and finished 80% of my training, all that’s left for me is a few more street practice sessions and the driving portion at the DMV.
I’m wondering… are there any jobs in SoCal that offer driving positions to a pre-licensed individual? Or does anyone know where I can inquire within such things? I don’t have a single clue where to start. But I want to get a job secured ASAP, as fast food and part time positions aren’t paying the bills.
Any help is greatly appreciated, thank you in advance

For local companies that put drivers through an actual interview process, you can start applying now by just going through the process as if you already have your CDL.
For the big OTR companies, they will book your travel to orientation within hours of you reaching out to them, so there's no need to apply prematurely. The most you'll want to do is research those companies and make a list of the ones you're interested in contacting once you have your CDL in hand.

Starter companys are typically otr. But in California you're bound to find something. Just avoid the 1099 scams.

No, you need a CDL to drive commercially. Period
