Delta App/Interview

So I sorta unexpectedly got the Delta AON invite. I’ve been rounding up LORs and I was planning to hire an app review. Question being, is there any point trying to adjust my app anymore? Should I try to add more LORs or what I already have at this point is what I’ve got and good enough? In a bit of a state of shock that I got the invite! Beyond thrilled!

Add your LOR’s. Advice I got is yes your app was pulled, but having more LOR’s (especially internal) add to the total number of “points” you’re scoring when it comes to their decision to or to not hire you.
Only huge problems is anything that fundamentally changes how they’d view you as a candidate (suddenly adding traffic violations, flight violations, mishap reports, etc). Adding LOR’s or continuing to update your hours won’t be seen as a red flag as those would be improving your profile.

Just update your hours and nothing else except maybe an address if you move or something. If you got an AON then they have already read your letters and want to hire you. You just need to pass the AON and interview. Don't risk adding anything unnecessary that could change their mind.
She already asked YOU to the prom! Just buy the flowers, and wear a suit and survive meeting her father! The job is yours to lose. Don't over think/do it.
I really reccommend spitfire for interview prep.

App adjustment is moot at this point. Hit the CUT-E stuff for AON practice, and get some interview prep for Atlanta (Emerald Coast is good for Delta). Good luck, and congrats on getting pulled!

Thank you, I’m planning on doing both of those! I guess I was just curious, are LORs referenced during the interview or are they primarily looked at while pulling the apps? I’ve been hustling to get LORs. Just trying to figure out if I should still be trying to get more.

Change nothing but hours. LORs and stuff are just to get pulled, they don’t really talk about any of that stuff in the interview.

Makes sense! Thank you!
GeorgiaPilot172@reddit
Bad advice, they absolutely have the LORs printed and reviewed at the interview. Add them.

May I ask your experience/ background please just curious. Thank you

No TPIC but mostly widebody flying
tommarca@reddit
Were you at a different legacy or flying abroad?
dr_strangelove52@reddit (OP)
Different legacy and cargo before that
Worried-Ebb-1699@reddit
Nope. Focus on being game day ready. Everything from your suit prepped, everything tabbed/ stapled or whatever the hell delta gets off on.
BagOfMoneyNoChange@reddit
There's no point in an app review at this point. They already pulled it. That's why you got the AON.
MyPilotInterview@reddit
You’ll probably have a CJO before many companies would get around to your app anyways.
dr_strangelove52@reddit (OP)
Yeah makes sense, but is there any point to adding LORs? Are LORs referenced during the interview as well or just the app pull?
BagOfMoneyNoChange@reddit
I added LORs after app pull but before interview. It can't hurt.
prex10@reddit
Now that your app has been pulled. Any major adjustments to it will be a red flag at an interview.
The point of an app review is to clean up issues and grammar etc, so that it gets pulled to interview you.
They already pulled it. So, yeah.

Makes sense! I’ll leave it be, thanks!

Keep updating hours. That's it.
