Best Stable Driver RTX 5060

What is the best stable driver for the RTX 5060? I just updated to version 595.79, but it feels unstable.
My Specs:
- CPU: Ryzen 5 8600G
- RAM: 32GB
- GPU: RTX 5060
I’m also experiencing frame drops in League of Legends, and I’m not sure why—especially since I monitor it with MSI Afterburner and all usage levels look normal. Additionally, in programs like Adobe Illustrator, the rendering switches to 'CPU Preview' after a while, and I have to restart the app to get it to use the GPU again."

576.88 and 591.86 (current) have been the most stable for me .
595s i had to DDU each and every time and go back to older 591 . those 595s drivers gave me weird background apps flashings, bad stuttering in games .
personally, i learned the hard way with the 5060 to not update the latest drivers , i usually give them a month and watch a few reviews on reddit and YT to see if its worth the headache

I’ll try that and see. My issue is in League of Legends and Illustrator, but honestly I don’t know if I’m losing performance because of the newer drivers or not, since I started with the 595 drivers.

Saw this post randomly but just an idea, I had problems with in league if I set the FPS limit to uncapped. Might be an engine/compatibility issue, but have you tried capping your fps to 144?
Excellent_Purple_536@reddit (OP)
It’s probably the same issue because I have it set to uncapped, but I notice the stuttering happens when it goes above around 144 to 250 FPS. Even though everything looks fine since I’m monitoring it with MSI Afterburner.
Radiokidd@reddit
Yeah I had the same issue. Anything above 144 would make the game unplayable. Looking it up couldn't find much online. You'd think it'd be a common issue considering the game is as popular as it is. Maybe it's a niche compatibility issue. Because there have to be people/pros playing on high refresh rate monitors.
Excellent_Purple_536@reddit (OP)
I don’t know, but I actually found a lot of people complaining about it even though they have high-end PCs too.
But the problem is I set an FPS limit and there’s still FPS drops, but there’s no input lag or anything, so I can’t figure out where the issue is coming from.

yeah try rolling back one driver version and do a clean install with DDU also disable the iGPU or set the 5060 as primary, that might be causing weird switching latest drivers aren’t always the most stable, especially right after release
Excellent_Purple_536@reddit (OP)
I will try, but do you know a stable driver version?
peterparker9894@reddit
Hey check vrm temps of your mobo maybe they are overheating since it doesn't have any vrm heatsinks, lol is more CPU intensive so might explain it
Excellent_Purple_536@reddit (OP)
VRM temperature ranges between 65 and 80 degrees.
peterparker9894@reddit
smidge high but acceptable, maybe try reseating your gpu, power connectors maybe even try turining pbo off and roll back to an older drivers
Excellent_Purple_536@reddit (OP)
I'll try uninstalling the drivers first, and I'll check the rest if it doesn't work. Thanks

the cpu is trash and that's the reason you are getting frame drops
Excellent_Purple_536@reddit (OP)
How is it “trash” when it’s better than the 8400F in both single-core and multi-core performance by 5–10%? And despite that, I know many people who use it and don’t complain about anything.
bringbackcayde7@reddit
both 8400f and 8600g are the worst cpu for AM5 because of the low cache size and esport titles like league of legends are very sensitive to cpu performance. You would see no frame drops if you switch to a x3d cpu.
Excellent_Purple_536@reddit (OP)
How? I used to play it on an i3 10100 with its integrated graphics and didn’t experience any FPS drops. xD
bringbackcayde7@reddit
your ddr5 ram have high cl. I think the bottleneck here is the memory
Excellent_Purple_536@reddit (OP)
No, the CL isn’t that high — it’s 38-38-38-78

If you're still using the MSI PRO A620M-E motherboard, change the PCIE settings to gen4 instead of auto. The GPU is gen5 and the motherboard is gen4, can cause instability. Should solve that issue, best of luck!
Excellent_Purple_536@reddit (OP)
No, the problem only happens in League or Legend.
I play Arc Raiders on Epic, and the game is stable with no FPS drops at all.
Also, I did some research and found that many people are complaining about the same issue with different GPUs like RTX 3080 and 4060 Ti.
TheBlueCable@reddit
Adobe illustrator switching to CPU preview is telling me that it's a communication problem between GPU and the rest of the pc. Start by changing the PCIE settings to gen4 and report back. I'd also consider turning off the iGPU while you're in the bios as well.
Many people with many different setups can report similar issues and have many different solutions based on set up.
Excellent_Purple_536@reddit (OP)
I’ve already disabled the iGPU, and I think the PCIe is running at Gen 4, but how can I make sure?
Also, the same issue was happening when I was using the integrated graphics.
TheBlueCable@reddit
You can use something like GPU-Z or check in the bios.
When you installed the 5060, you moved the output cable into the GPU right? Sounds silly but I'm trying to rule everything out.
Excellent_Purple_536@reddit (OP)
Yeah, of course. The display cable is plugged into the GPU, and I disabled the iGPU from the BIOS.
Excellent_Purple_536@reddit (OP)
I know there’s a performance loss, but it’s only around 3% to 5% at most.
