will a 9060 xt be bottlenecked greatly by a R5 3600? (1080p)

i’m looking into a gpu (have a budget of around €500) and the rx 9060 xt is up for 470 rn, i have a ryzen 5 3600 and dont see an upgrade to that in my future due to complications with my build (bought this pc used with a 2060 super and the cable management is shocking and not something i want to delve into) and was wondering if id see a significant bottleneck if i bought a 9060. a monitor upgrade to 1440p may happen within the next few months tho. i also have 650 watt power supply and my motherboard has PCI 3 slot (i think thats what its called i dont know much about motherboards) so if thats a factor i have to be worried about please let me know. this is the only upgrade apart from my monitor i hope to making for the next few years, and dont know if im shooting myself in the foot as ive seen people complain about the bottleneck and stuttering from the 9060 paired with r5 3600.

Get a last gen amd gpu, the 7700xt gives the same performance and it's under $400, or you could get a 7800xt/7900gre for about the same price as the 9060xt while being better

Maybe slightly, shouldn’t be too bad.

At 1080 yes it will. At 1440 unlikely unless you are playing a CPU intense game like bg3

High frames in more GPU intensive games, slight gains in more CPU bound games, don't worry too much about bottlenecks, with system it will be very minimal.

It's usable, but i definitely expect CPU bottlenecks in a lot of modern games, especially UE5 games that experience terrible CPU overhead issues. PCIE 3 is also gonna be an issue with the 8GB variant of the 9060 xt.

i’m planning on getting the 16gb version
According_Spare7788@reddit
Ah great. Much less of an issue with the 16GB one. I'd say go for it, and maybe consider upgrading the cpu or platform later down the line.

At 1080p? Probably depending what games you play
At 1440p? I think you'll be okay
A 5600 would be a much better pairing with it. However do you mean the 16gb or 8gb version? The biggest issue is if you get the 8gb, run out of VRAM, it will tank your performance on anything other than pcie 5.0

the difference in price is very small between the 8 and 16gb versions so i’ll definitely be going for the 16gb

No not really.
The PSU is fine, the PCIE slot being a few generations behind does make performance take a hit but its small :)
Enjoy the pc!!
