I guess I'm bad at being a girl lol. I didn't cry at Titanic and mostly I recall wondering when the hell it was going to be over. Damn, that's a long film.
Admittedly, probably part of the reason I didn't get emotional about it was because I was so sick of Leonardo DiCaprio. He was everywhere and I swear 90% of the girls at school had crushes on him. Never my type... too pretty boy-ish and I was into nerds lol.

Man, Leo's reign beginning in the 90's when Romeo + Juliet came out, though the mid 2000's was so fun for me. We looked so much alike, almost every girl I met would just start calling me Leo. Their moms, too. And I got treated like a real life doll of him. Started in high school and continued through traveling all over Asia and the US. It was the shit. lol. That's how I met the woman I love.

Is that Best of the Best?

Yep. I watched that all summer and I probably cried every time.

Had this on VHS as a kid. Watched countless times.
For some reason, the one scene that sticks in my head is during the US team tryouts, Chris Penn kicks his opponent immediately after they bow to one another and the camera cuts to an old couple in the stands who are disgusted at the unfairness.

I remember that! Nice. Man, I need to re-watch soon.

i thoroughly enjoyed best of the best as a kid
halfway through season 7 of cobra kai, it dawned on me that the Sekai Taikai tournament they were entering was the "best of the best" tournament - that rung an additional nostalgia bell for me, that i'm not sure many people caught

In high school, my friends were at at a friend’s house and his family was watching Titanic. We stayed and watched the end. They also had a cat, and I’m allergic to cats. So the sad part comes and my eyes are all itchy, red, and watery and my nose is runny. I’m just there trying to cope with being miserable and they thought I was crying.

Yes, this meme format does, in fact, bore me to tears.

I have no clue what this is from. However, I’m a man, and can’t help but cry every time I watching La Bamba.
