The thing is…yeah that’s great…but OP will eventually look back on his life and realize he never accomplished anything.

He never pushed himself, he never tested himself, he has no objective measure of where he is relative to his peers and eventually, after a lifetime of watching them succeed in their careers and earn what they made the despair will set in and he’ll realize he wasted his life sitting there playing video games.

Yes but it’s doubtful he will with his attitude and discipline.

If he doesn’t have to work he should still choose some kind of productive hobby or other job he enjoys that give him fulfillment or at the very least strive to master a skill. Video games could be that thing but he should then work on mastering a genre of game and playing competitively.

There are two paths to fulfillment, either pushing yourself and testing your limits in a competitive field or serving/helping others/creating something useful that people want and OP doesn’t seem like he’s on any of those paths.
