I am a bit disappointed that there is still no Wayland and wow64 support.

Wine 11 does have Wow64, which has been there earlier as well but not entirely usable.

Most people should probably use Glorious Eggroll Proton (GE-Proton) which has fixes even ahead of the Proton betas.
I use ProtonUp-Qt to install and mange GE-Proton versions, or you can install them directly.
