First car for teen? (Part2)

Minivan mom back again- I took the advice from all the comments on the last post and expanded my search area to find some other options. These are the ones I have test driven and feel good about. They’re clean and well maintained. No salvage titles! I want to narrow it down to a top choice and take it for a prepurchase inspection. Of these three, what would you recommend for a teens first car:
-
2013 Subaru Impreza, 69k miles, $9000
-
2018 Toyota Corolla hatchback, 97k miles, has Toyota safety suite, $13,000 (private seller)
-
2013 Honda fit sport, 68k miles, $12,000
I have a gaggle of children so if we get something reliable, the next few kids can drive it too! Looking for safety and longevity!

Get insurance quotes for the cars because especially for a teenager the cost may vary a lot more than you might expect.
Corollas are great but it cost over half of what a new Corolla would cost and even if that is what they are selling for I would a hard time bringing myself to pay that much for an 8 year old car with basically 100k miles.
I did a quick google and the 2013 Impreza was one of the cars which Subaru had with a oil consumption problem so I would want to research that a lot more before buying it. At the very least if you get the imprezza the oil level needs to be checked every time you get gas.
I had an Honda Fit which was a few years older than the 2013 which you are looking at. It had the worst headlights of any car I have owned. Make sure that the headlights are not fogged and consider putting brighter bulbs into the Fit even though they will not last as long.

Corolla maybe best but personally I love Subaru

I love subaru too, but I would never tell someone to buy one.

Honda fit, they will have tonnes of fun and won't be going fast. Subaru is like introducing your kid to hard drugs. If it doesn't kill him, it will take all their money.

Get a first gen honda pilot with low miles 8 seats awd and a v6 i promise you the best car there is

I dunno man. An SUV for a kid is a little much. They have poorer visibility and higher rollovers.

Solid cars but I dont remember ever cracking 20 MPG. If memory is correct, it was 15-18 at best.

Buddy of mine had one his mpg was aroud 17 to 22 car lasted him about 340k miles before he got rear ended an totaled it but goddammit if the reliability scale goes up the fuel efficiency goes down (only works for similar displacement engines)

Get the Corolla. It's a no-brainer.

1998 Honda Accord. $1500 on Craigslist. They're out there.

Corolla. None are bad options, but the Corolla would likely have the longest life
