Does anyone know about this gun's firing mechanism?

A muzzle-loaded, lead ball, traditional firing gun used in Sri Lanka. Does anyone know its firing mechanism? Because I couldn't see any visible snaplock or matchlock system but it's muzzle loaded.
So, how does it work when triggered?

Looks like the bar is the "hammer." And the trigger slides backwards.

Bar = the iron like thing hanging outwards from the wood, near the trigger?
(I dont understand your meaning of bar, sorry)

That's correct. The design of the hammer and trigger work exactly like an upside-down mouse trap.

It's the same mechanism. But the iron thing is in a different position. The nipple for the percussion cap is a lot longer than a typical musket as well.
The gun probably self-destructed because it wasn't made with a professionally made barrel.

It's a different mechanism from the first one.
The one you're showing me is more similar to a Kyber Pass pistol ("External Hammer" mechanism).

Here are the new photos I acquired. Do you think they will help with further findings?

Best I can work out is maybe some kind of under hammer system?
Most historical under hammer rifles have a hammer that swings forward, though, and these look like they would swing rearward.
