My senior dog is still quite spry but approaching end of life at some point, and I’m trying to prepare.

For personal and spiritual reasons (that I’m not interested in defending - if you think this is weird or gross, I respect your opinion, but please just scroll past 💜), I’d love to preserve at least her skull, tail, and pelt.

Not looking for a full mount, cost isn’t an issue, and I’d be willing to sign any sort of waiver or disclaimer (seems a lot of taxidermists don’t do pets for the same reasons a lot of photographers don’t do weddings - tough clients!)

I’ve been cold calling taxidermists around here, haven’t heard back yet. Would be willing to drive outside DFW (elsewhere in Texas, or Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma). If anyone you know of — or YOU yourself — would be up to the task, please comment or DM 🐾
