How do you like to store your magazines?

For me, it’s a magnets on the back of those plastic racks from Amazon (and a couple of spice racks I stole from the kitchen 🤫) The big vertical magnet is also handy for loose magazines

Ammo cans and totes.
In my pistol bags there's generally 7-10 mags for that pistols. Extras/spares are in marked ammo cans or totes.
Things like 9mm Glock pattern mags, AR mags, and the like are in totes, with a smaller tote full in the truck.
I have thousands of mags. My minimum number of mags for any gun is seven. I only have one firearm that I have less than seven mags for and I'm just waiting for those to come into stock.
I have a couple of 35 quart totes full of AR mags, one full of metal mags, the other plastic mags. Non-standard AR mags, .300 BO, 6.5 Grendel and the like are in 50 cal ammo cans.
When I die my kids are going to hate me for all the mags I own, but since they both live in ban states....

Harbor Freight is your friend

People posting all these empty mags made me think I was doing something wrong. Don't see the point in having all them empty mags haha
2dazeTaco@reddit
They’re not empty
Realistic_Letter6842@reddit
I know. You are the only one
2dazeTaco@reddit
I have a few new ones that will get out into rotation as others break. But I never understood the point of an empty mag. What good is going to do you if you ever need it? You gonna throw it at someone?
2dazeTaco@reddit
They’re not empty

I don't really store mine. They stay in my range bag. I'll shoot competitively so I'll do one range session a week and a couple monthly matches.

Loaded
DoctorJekylll@reddit
I love the spice rack idea you used for the wheel gun speed loaders. 👍
Correct-Award8182@reddit
I missed that one
Ornery-Exchange-4660@reddit
I just keep mine in ammo cans. When I need ready ammo, I just grab the ammo can and go.it isn't fancy, but it works for me.

Loaded for starters
No_Seaworthiness9466@reddit (OP)
My self defense firearms are loaded obviously
Inevitable-Sleep-907@reddit
I just load everything because I'd rather spend range time shooting than loading mags. Anything that's shot at range will get reloaded before next range trip

Awesome. Did you 3D print the racks?
earl_the_recker@reddit
Unfortunately no. I didn't get a printer setup till recently. These came from hammy3dprints. Great products and CS. Really good experience overall.

I just haf s aew guns. I spent all my mony on synthesizers. I wish i had more....synths
fatogato@reddit
I always though mags should be stored loaded because what’s the point if otherwise
No_Seaworthiness9466@reddit (OP)
Sufficed to say, the guns that matter are stored separately, and of course loaded. Not a lot of point keeping everything else loaded. It depends what I’m choosing to take to the range that day.
13NeverEnough@reddit
What magnets are you using? I do same, but clearly I need those magnets

I'm using the Harbor Freight magnetic tool holders. They have been working good so far.

In a tub, separated by firearm in giant zip lock bags.
Certainly nowhere near as organized as you.

I have too many for the door. I have bins/cabinets
Outrageous_Lion8966@reddit
Holy magazines Batman!
I do store them on the door of my safe, but I’ve only got 3-4 magazines per firearm, and don’t have many firearms so it sure doesn’t look like this!
Badass setup! As well as other photos in the comments!
Cryptic1911@reddit
The case club inserts are nice. Get 24 mags per can and they arent just in a pile
Cryptic1911@reddit
I keep mine in case club inserts in ammo cans

Soupcasebody@reddit
I cram them in 50cal ammo cans whether it’s Glock, 2011, ar15 or akm. That way when I grab the firearm I just grab the associated can with loaded mags and be on my way.
M4DHouse@reddit
Not like this, and now I feel like I do it wrong.

Hmmm
I think I’ll print something like that. Looks good.
