Forget my silly post, I just came home and I tried qwen3.6:35b Q6 at full context and 120t/s. Its just the best/fastest local model I have tried.

Phi was largely just a research artifact to show that synthetic and clean data makes small models actually viable.
They built on it, but it didn't really line up with what investors want which is crazy high-parameter ASI AGI models.

I feel microsoft intentionally releases PHI in state which is not useful to end users. Who would want tiny context like they have been providing? Their openweight is just for show...
