bruh_what_even_tho@reddit
I just got a warning from Reddit for "threatening violence" for wishing the same on a certain famous world leader who everyone hates. What the actual fuck! This place is cooked!
civodar@reddit
If it’s the same genocidal pig who’s facing charges from the ICC for crimes against humanity then the guys at r/worldnews banned me for saying he was committing a genocide and he deserves the same fate as the nazis who came before him.
bruh_what_even_tho@reddit
I was banned from r/worldnews for saying "it is not antisemitic to be opposed to the slaughter of children"
MonthlyWeekend_@reddit
I was banned from r/worldnews for saying there are in fact Jewish people in the world who do not believe the genocide of Palestine should be allowed to continue.
Practical_Meanin888@reddit
Got banned from worldnews for saying babies are innocent
karatebullfightr@reddit
Oh man, I got banned by those MAGA cucks for making a dumb joke about Charlie Kirk getting an unexpected stoma like a couple of hours after that pointless shitbird got tagged - I think I might be the only one here that kinda deserved my ban.
zeth4@reddit
Got banned for casting doubt on the presence of nukes and the estimates of the numbers killed in protest by Iran which was being used as justification for Israel and the USAs invasion.
Bringing up that the same type of inflated casualties, claims of weapons of mass destruction, etc. were used to just the invasion of Iraq only to be extensively disproven.
Classic-Break5888@reddit
They actually cleaned up over there, it’s not the extremist Zionist stronghold it was before
civodar@reddit
At that point the mods are just telling on themselves and also making a whole religion look bad.
Koakie@reddit
Join the club. I was banned from worldnews for making a joke about aipac.
civodar@reddit
I’ve heard people on other subs talk about it. Apparently r/worldnews is notorious for banning people for saying israel is guilty of genocide or ethnic cleansing or even saying anything negative about Israel. I think there might be a mod(or a few mods) who are abusing their power to create a certain narrative.
polymute@reddit (OP)
They banned me before the Gaza war - months before - for posting the Palestinian Authority news agency factual reports about settler violence in the West Bank. No other premise, no nothing.
They even got my account suspended twice fro trying to appeal it in modmail. Politely. Those mods really did not like that topic getting traction there. And I was not agendaposting: I have been a contributor of varied topics for more than a decade at that point there.
Asjutton@reddit
Sounds a lot like what happened to me in r/worldnews , I got a 14 days sitewide ban for asking why I was banned after I wrote "oh sweet summer child" under a comment that said that everyone in europe loves the US. I was genuinly confused.
bruh_what_even_tho@reddit
jesus
civodar@reddit
Is there a way to get a mod banned? At a certain point it almost feels like they’re breaking rules acting that way.
polymute@reddit (OP)
I think by that time they made it so that one didn't even know which mod was handling the ban/convo. Might have been a later development though...
loggy_sci@reddit
Putin?
civodar@reddit
Netanyahu
ChillAhriman@reddit
When someone is in a supporting genocide competition and their opponent is a moderator of worldnews:
D:< "I'm cooked."
40_Thousand_Hammers@reddit
Well, Epstein wife was a major admin in r/worldnews
siorge@reddit
This could be anyone of like 20 people, yet I know who you mean...i guess
Tobocaj@reddit
That’s a capital offense that I’m sure a certain someone would love to arrest you for. Reddit is doing you a favor
No_Beach_220@reddit
Reddit: where threatening to 🍇 some random user is AOK, but wishing Dear Leader has infected ingrown toenails is political violence.
Besmirching_Badger@reddit
Much as he's clearly a bad man, i have a lot of issues with the ICTY, the tribunal set up pre ICC to deal with the yugolavs (or actually in practice to punish the serbs). What we ended up with was basically a western run institution relying on western supplied intelligence/evidence against western enemies whilst anything else was covered up or witheld if it didn't suit us. The amount of (particularly American) interference was insane. It was basically a court set up for show trials.
This is a really interesting read by the chief prosecutor of milosevic https://www.lrb.co.uk/the-paper/v32/n24/geoffrey-nice/del-ponte-s-deal
Then you've got stories with the chief ICTY prosecutor like this one where she discusses efforts by the US and NATO to interfere or direct prosecutions https://www.spiegel.de/international/world/former-chief-prosecutor-carla-del-ponte-i-keep-telling-myself-that-justice-will-prevail-a-21b02282-89d5-4e7b-b32c-ab16bc1b778b
You've also got plenty of stories like this (which aligns with the above) https://www.theguardian.com/world/2000/sep/10/balkans.internationalcrime

It's surprising this comment has been removed and you haven't been banned
Besmirching_Badger@reddit
For what? Questioning problematic judicial processes?
The same way western governments are happy to weaponise the ICC against putin but then undermine it and assault it to protect israelis.
Additional_Ad_3530@reddit
Exactly, I mean I agree with your comment, however there's only one "right" opinion about the Yugoslavia wars.
Czart@reddit
Yeah, "genocide bad" and "don't do that" seem like the correct opinions. Unless you want to enlighten us with some alternatives to that?
sakezaf123@reddit
This comment hasn't been removed, lol.
celloh234@reddit
Rule based world order was never a reality. It was always west and its buddies based world order
sakezaf123@reddit
The interesting thing about Serbian Nationalists, is that they simulaneously deny and defend the genocides, and that they simultaneously claim that the US is actually at fault for not intevening even earlier, but that the US should have also intervened earlier. It's a really interesting topic, but sadly ruined by the now hideable comment histories on reddit, as you could just look at profiles, and see the users opinion constantly shift, depending on which argument served them best in any given discussion.

I hope he doesn’t die, but becomes paralyzed and develops insomnia. As he lies awake night after night, I wish his body remains unresponsive while his mind stays very alert. I hope there is no escape in sleep and no relief in movement, only the slow grind of an existence
Cold-Pomegranate6739@reddit
And he also steps on a lego!
D0naldinh0@reddit
Too far man, too far
Forsaken_Hermit@reddit
May he never recover.

That is way to cruel.... to the poeple who will be forced to take care of him and cleanup after him and such.
grungegoth@reddit
And put photos of his atrocities on the ceiling
